Weekend is over...what did you get done?

I know it's Thanksgiving and all but I had to give some thanks to the jeep.

Rebuilt the spare driveshaft and installed it in the rear, driveline noise gone!

Greased everything that had a fitting, and tightened the trackbar down.

Remounted the HiLift where it's supposed to be instead of being loose in the back.

Happy Thanksgiving!

i have a cd player and some speakers for my xj, but i'm holding off till i get my lift, tires, bumper, clutch, and welded rearend all sorted out.
i guess wheelin's my priority :D
EDIT: once i get it trail ready, i might fix the heater. maybe....

^^^You already have the cd player and speakers??? Why not put them in? I mean an hour or so and voila. I'd say you've got at least a weeks worth of other "work" listed there.

I'm like you though, I've had the radio and speakers for awhile and I finally got around to installing them.;)

I went wheeling/mudding today, thanks to Shaggybob. He let me tag along with them. It was fun, but man was it ever slick!!

Just make sure you stay away from the trees when it's slick....ask DrRandy 'bout that....the trees tend to move when it gets slick....I've seen 'em too!:D

I can vouch for moving trees, and my jeep probably would agree. At least 3 new sections of custom body work that I'm aware of.

I hate mud.

Got my axel out but couldn't put it back in cz my lift kit from Full Traction is missing pieces! Not too thrilled with those guys from FTS so far. On top of the fact that the guy who re-did my front axel didn't actually do the U-Joints like I paid for. Dissapointing weekend was hoping to have my lift on but now she sits half apart and everyone else is hitting the trails tomorrow.

Missing some sleeves, the threading on all the nuts in the master hardware package are no good they won't tap onto the bolts, you can see the deformaties in the nuts, Same with one of the Hiem joints it wont tap into the control arm.

Don't know why he didn't do the U-Joints I paid for it. Rear end feels a little loose too.

well, the bigger things on my list, like the clutch and brakelines are keeping me from driving, the tcase is keeping me from wheelin, and the tires/welded reared are keeping me from enjoying wheeling. i'll prolly do the cd player this week, though.

finally got my reamer in. reamed out my TRE for the 1 ton set up. got the bearings pressed on the 9" carrier and shafts.
still got to add the breaks to the front. weld the drag link. shorten front drive shaft. then the rear can be worked on.
doesnt sound like much but it seems to be a long tedeous (sp) process.

doing this alone sucks.
