Weekend is over...what did you get done?

Figured I had pushed my luck far enough with a struggling battery, and don't want it to completely up and die on me this week when i'm trying to get to a new job (because that's exactly what it would have done had I waited any longer).

$90 later...

Built a bed frame, yard work, adjusted timing on a buddy's boat, measured/planned a sub box, and some other little stuff. Headed to the Charlotte area to transport some fish tanks for another buddy and swap some Jeep parts. Hopefully picking up some Moabs on Monday.

oil change to 20w50 thick oil for the 200K engine thats got bad piston slap..
spidertrax on all 4's to fit the Moab rims with the 315's i got mounted..
awaiting the lift parts as they come..

Avon's gonna be a big B****

whoever built the cage on the last one had no idea what they were doing, but otherwise it looks pretty nifty.
actually. thats my buddies blazer. and i helped him build that cage. it has held up to several flops now and is still going strong.

wow, now I feel like an arse :anon:

It must be stronger than it looks, either that or I have no idea what I am talking about.

we do it good in oregon.

had a long long day today.

part1
got up at 6am, headed over to bogonia's house, luckily we only had to do t-stat housing gasket and get a new temp sender.

after two parts store runs we were done in a few hours, then got to eat some lasagna and had a beer.

part2
before leaving bogonia's i had to install a cam lock in his new work truck's "truck box" was fairly simple and i did most of the adjustments and lubing friday morning.

part3
off to Glennifer's to build a rack, delivering to huntsville (or halfway atleast) on tuesday. got 10ft worth of uprights cut and explosion bogosian pulled shrek's steering wheel.
part3a
while boogersian was cleaning up the burrs off the peices i just cut, i disassembled the rest of the steering column enough to tighten the torx bolts inside. re assembled.

part4
finished cutting some other peices of metal for the rack and some light brackets. welded up the rack.

I beleive the material used may play a part in that too....but I'm no fabricator:dunno:

Went to the range, threw some brass, worked today, and now I'M ON VACATION!!!!!!! :D

All I did to the jeep this weekend was drop it off at RSOR for some goodies.

outside of that a bunch of school work.....no fun

Just got home from one long day. Up at 7 to load the truck, on the road by 9, drove down to Shelby NC to swap fish tanks, drove all around the Charlotte area, met up with Jim to swap parts, met Tim for dinner, come back and unload the truck and home at 22:45. Oh, and a certain person on another forum is a complete douche.

Good seein ya again tonight. You should come back to Charlotte more often. Hopefully in a month or so i'll be in my own place. We'll have to get together and celebrate or something.

Sucks about the deal. There's a couple of reason why I don't associate with that forum anymore, and that's a perfect example of one of them. But, everything happens for a reason right? I'll keep my eyes out on another set for you.

cnickgo, you drive more than anyone i know.

Haha, I think I'll take that as a complement. I'm pretty sure I could write a thesis on patterns of different highway drivers.

I looked at my disaster of a garage. (Gonna clean and build benches soon.)

Went to my buddy's shop and replaced Left axle u-joint on my 94.

Had dreams of what is to come on my 96.

May install fresh NP231 in my 94 today depending on how garage goes.
