fixed a few of the wiring issues in my xj, :repair:worked on a friend's 97 hyundai sonata(what a colossal pile of monkey crap that thing is) had to call wingnut to come work his mystical locksmith JUJU when the doors automatically locked with the keys in the ignition and the car running.:explosion - then once we got back in i fixed the brake lights, air conditioner, speedometer/odometer, and unclogged the wiper squirt motor.
still waiting to get paid, though... whenever that money comes along i'll go buy a clutch master cylinder and get my xj back on/off the road.
hung out with middtennjeeperz while they combined 2 crummy steering columns to come up with one good one for a yj, and changed out the tailshaft seal in its t-case.
My dad is doing much better now. he's awake and eating solid food and able to talk, and still jokes around the same way he used to, but it often feels like he thinks it's still 1984 or so, and talks about people who have died like they came to visit him yesterday. his brain still has a lot of healing to do, and he's supposed to start physical therapy to regain some manual dexterity and be able to walk again soon. it still looks like he has a long road ahead of him, but at least we're not planning a funeral!arty: he has been moved back to jackson from vanderbilt, but will make several return trips to get checked out by the surgeons and other doctors who worked on him to see how his progress is going.
Not to pry but what happened to your dad? I saw something about it a couple weeks ago but wasn't sure what happened. Glad to hear he is recovering nicely man!
