Weekend is over...what did you get done?

Say boo all you want but Doug's Waggy kicks butt and I won't be running anywhere near 37" tall tires so i should be good. Besides i can always resell it if I change my mind.

Got primer and paint for my JCR quarter Guards. Write up and install coming sunday!

I was just razzin.

Don't get the alloy joints with no bearings if you plan on any street driving. The grease dispensor blows and the grease is only available at whoever sells teh joints.

Be prepared for a million questions about your setup.

bring em on :D when you guys put it together your more than welcome to borrow the waggy if it helps.... just dont take TOO many joyrides

its a 44 remember..... hubs ;)

Patience paid off....

Hit the PAP in Nashville today and got a 4.10 8.8 out of a 1997 Explorer.

Finally!

^ congratulations!
today i used my waggy to pull an abandoned 66 Scout out of the woods near Fall Creek Falls and back to murfreesboro for a buddy of mine. under the hood it looks great! but everywhere else, it's a totally worthless bag o' wet goldfish turds. lots of rust and ugly chipped paint, but it has potential(lol)! i had a lot of fun doing it, and i can't wait to see that ol' beast out on the trails moving under its own power. it has these old nasty mud tires on it that were still holding air that said 'jumba gumba' on them. too funny. they looked like the ol' 70's or 80's style super swampers.

Jumbo gumbo monster mudders! :roflmao:

Somewhat of a joke up here, people will run em bald as hell and dry rotted just for style points

Spent the day under a 98 Chevy Blazer replacing the fuel pump on it. This was after trying to push it into the garage with my Jeep and smashing my two hellas up (woops).

After a couple trips to the parts store, and 3 attempts from Napa to get me the ENTIRE fuel pump assembly in a non used, non part missing manner, the blazer lives again.

Doing plugs and an oil change on it in the morning before it heads back to the mountains.

I made my Ranger's clutch worse than ever while trying to fix it and looked at all the new goodies for the jeep that are sitting here waiting for one more item to show up before I install everything.

May rebuild a drive shaft and assemble the alloy axles this afternoon. Possibly might try straightening the tie rod on the jeep as well if I can't get my trucks clutch hydraulics working.

For the record, I know they function very well, but I officially hate hydraulic clutches.

Second weekend in a row I felt like crap....

Wanted to tear down suspension of Jeep in preparation for the lift coming on Wed, and the 4wd conversion but I remembered I'm having surgery and won't be able to work on the Jeep for a couple weeks so might as well leave it drivable.

I did seafom it though, and started hitting everything with PB.

Finally put on the JCR rear bumper tie in plates. I've got JCR nut strips in the rear rails and the original bolts were waaaaayy to short. I'm going through Brian's shackle relocation brackets plus a gas tank skid plus the tie in brackets themselves. I've got almost an inch of metal in the rear against the sheet metal "frame". One of the stupid holes didn't line up and it took a little grinding with a die grinder to get them to line up. Finally...got them on. The rear bumper doesn't move at all now!!!

yeh, I need to address my JCR tie in brackets...my holes were way off. I've stopped getting replies from them on email, so I'll have to improvise...:scared:

what kinda surgery are you having? I'm discussing a lumbar fusion, L5-S1 currently:D

yesterday i got my bumper trimmed and the guilty sheet metal cut out from the path of my precious tires.

today i tried to hook up the wires so my 4wd light comes on but alas, no worky turkey.

i decided to try and hook up the lights in my TJ flares but thats gonna take a bit more disassembly than i wanted to do today.

i did however get my lower control arm shims in with the help of bosco. loosened up all the appropriate hardware and hooked his winch up to the axle and pulled.

got underneath and inserted all the shims i needed and tightened up the bolts again. piece of cookie.

then of course we got glenn's tires mounted up and he put them on his jeep.

also now he's the proud owner of a set of shock and swaybar bushings. GREEN of course :) :)

oh yeah and i also finally got a cup holder for my sexy queen.

just scuffed the surface a little and used some JB Kwik and presto!

10.99 at advance auto.

Well I didn't do much to my Xj or MJ except look at them. But I did pretty much finish up the bumpers on my CJ and I also finally got around to painting my M-416 to match the CJ...I still have to paint the wheels white on the 416 but the rest turned out pretty good.

Had the intentions of just doing plugs and an oil change on the blazer...untill it showed up with a stuck rear caliper (stuck for 60 miles on the highway too...never seen a rotor melt like that before!).

Napa screwed me again on parts for it today..so the majority of the time was spent trying to find the right caliper. Ran out of time after the brakes and barely managed to get the oil change in.

ya know, it's kinda gross when you talk about bogosia like that....:firedevil
harharhar....
today i got some of my electrical gremlins adressed, namely my brake lights.
scored everything for my 4.5" lift except an adjustable tracbar. got a fullsize spare, and applied for like 10 different jobs. part-time work is hard to come by these days in murfreesboro. oh, and played in the woods a bit with Bosco and his secksy giant xj.

oh yeah, and yesterday i found a brand new cherry-bomb glasspack muffler on the side of the road! not a scratch on it! someone must have done a crummy job of clamping it on, but i'll get it welded on my xj this week! wootwoot! gotta love free stuff!
