Weekend is over...what did you get done?

Figured out I have to replace my main shaft in the transfercase. A buddy thinks he has a spare though.

Finally manned up and cut fenders. Cut 2 1/4 and rolled another 1/4. I'll finish the rear tomorrow. Came out ok (everyone else likes it, I'm being realy picky), will be better when I put bedliner on.

Making space for the upcoming 33's.

well, my weekend fell on wed and thurs, thanks to the army, lol, anyway i got rid of that anoying cherry bomb straight pipe and put on a turbo instead, now when i step on it, it no longer sounds like a pi*sed off bumble bee thats dying, unfortunately i have the california emissions package, so yay.

That only took 3 hours in the shop, thanks to New York state for salt and rust.

So then on my way home i got death wobble so bad that it broke the tailpipe out of the weld, just a lovely finish, so I parked the jeep and took the wifes car for the next 2 days til I get it fixed again.

I also picked up a set of nice 5 spoke 2006 grand cherokee 17" rims and tires for $200 down in nashville, now I need to get adapters, I found a nice set online for $149 delivered. Unfortunately a tire shop in town sells them, but he wants $180 for the set plus tax, and no lugs, or discount, so I told him where he could stick those adapters !

I'll post pics in the pics section when i get it done

I've invested so much in this XJ that i could of had 2 brand new jeeps, lol.

KP out :patriot:

Lookin good, that thing looks like a beast. I poured some water on mine today after the afternoon mud run to see if it would grow up but no luck yet, its still raining though.

I staked up a couple of wind blown trees and washed three Jeeps in the rain (Sun), flushed the cooling system in the '92, cleaned and painted the winch mount for the Wrangler and the '92 front bumper, and drove my '92 for the first time since the rail sleeves and t-case skid (Sat)... nice.

Drove the Jeep around the block, it's fast. I also figured out how bad bias ply tires can get when they sit at 5psi for 2.5 months in the same spot.

Got up early Saturday morning...stopped at a few places on our way out of NJ then drove 10 hours back home...got home around 1am and passed out. Woke up at 7am, put a new water pump and stainless steel front brake lines on the Jeep, then dinner with the girlfriend before heading back to Charlotte.

Which shop? Did you try TORS?

i put a 4.5" lift on 32's on Maggy the Waggy! woot! this is what fsj's are sposta look like from the factory! as soon as i can get a camera that works, i'll post up some pics.
anybody have an aussie for a d44? i need it bad.
also, i got the cooling system fixed on my xj, and got my new axle shaft in!
unfortunately now, when i hit the brakes pedal goes to the floor and i run into stuff. GAY!:scared: i'm not leakin fluid anywhere that i can tell. i know my rear shoes are worn down, but they've been that way for a while, and the wheel cylinders look good. front brakes are pretty new, so i know that's not the problem. i'm still running stock/orginal brake lines, and the front ones are pretty cracked, so maybe i'm gettin some gnarly expansion there. i need help! somebody come over and pump my brakes while i look at lines, calipers and wheel cylinders and try to figure this:bs: out.

you may have air in the lines and need to bleed them
i just don't know how i would have gotten air in the lines, though. i haven't opened any of the lines, which is how i usually get air in the lines. also, i haven't tried for very long, but even after a few pumps, they still don't get very solid... you may be right though. i've been mad at her so i've kinda just been letting her sit for a couple weeks.

didnt do chit, it was 103 on saturday and 104 on sunday im here in Cali right now. but i am getting ready to bolt a set of MJ shackles on right now.

Hey mark, a better A/C delete pulley would've been a York Compressor... OBA Baby!

Blake, Im digging the YJ, it looks even better in the daylight than it did last night at 9:30 when we finished it...
