Weekend is over...what did you get done?

I've been slack, I haven't signed on in 5 months! Not slack, just broke, lol.
I got bored at work today so I managed to change the oil, new brake pads and turned the rotors, tranny service, clean the throttle body, and gut my rattling convertor! I actually liked the way it sounded without the muffler so I left it off for now. It's not as loud as I thought it'd be. Other than that, she's the same ole rock slut.

Looked at houses, maybe found one, put tow hooks on up front. Pool is ready, now its time to party.
 
redid my front coil spring mounts, welded the coil buckets to the relocating plate, relocated my front shock mounts, relocated my poorly placed trackbar, notched more of my bellypan for more DS clearance, took an 8 hour driver's safety class. . .

Geeez 8 hours? you are a better man than I am....3-4 maybe and they had better have a good lunch. worth it? :laugh3:
 
hehe. . . it wasn't really my call on how long I was there. . . got a speeding ticket in a school zone 5 min. before school hours were over. oops.
 
helped rredalty out with some projects on the mj, upgraded my power/ground wires in engine bay, built a tire rack in the back of my xj.
 
Worked on the MJ yesterday, did an engine swap this morning, pissed the rest of the day away after hazing the tires off in the driveway. Stroker makes me chubby.
 
Drove 7 hours to Washington DC (well Manassass to be exact) yesterday to begin the week long vacation. Took the Metro Train into DC today after remembering how much fun getting the Tundra into the parking garages was last time we were up here. Walked through two of the Smithsonian Museums today. Going to see the Air and Space Museum over by Dulles tomorrow and if we have time, catch the Metro back over to DC and see the Air and Space Museum at the Smithsonian.

Leaving for Deleware first thing Tuesday morning.
 
I finally swapped in a new R&P into the 8.8 yesterday, the old ones were worn... BAD! But its all good now, no more whining! Still breaking them in, but so far so good.
 
Welded up the belly pan, painted the B-pan, undercoated the HDOffroad rail plates, mowed my hay field, picked up some logs for a new target backstop, spent time with the Mom...
 
im gathering parts for my build up.

gears - check
axles - check
perches - check
tires - not yet but workign on it.

spent time with the mom and wife/mother of one this weekend

grandmother turned 80, dad turned 53, and mothers day all in one weekend... wheewww
 
Built a bastard pack and welded up the t-case skid, thanks Ed!

and time with mom on sunday...
 
Finally fixed a p/s rear upper shock bolt that has been broken since the Flog. cleaned and painted some surface spots of rust. Pressure washed before and after all of this.
 
Drove to Delaware yesterday and spent the day with my now Step Aunt and Step Uncle. Took the ferry over from DE to NJ this morning and drove up to Atlantic City to eat at Whitehouse Subs and hit the Boardwalk and the Casinos. Also rode around and looked at where in AC my Step Dad grew up. Up in the Springfield area right now to see where my mom grew up. Heading back to NC Saturday but between then we're driving around this area of NJ and heading to NYC for one of the days..which one depends on what the weather does.

Gotta love vacations :D
