Weekend is over...what did you get done?

Fixed the transfer case shifting problem. Re-checked the body bolts on the lift, and gave it a wax. PS: it has an "X" on it and it's a jeep. Bite me. ;-)

Looks good! You coming to the crawl in that thing? I know there will be other TJ and LJ's there..... And even a Grand..... :helpme:

13-15 June there is a charity ride at chocco. I plan om going. Easier to sell the wife on that

Someone told me there was a SRRS at AOP that weekend. I'd like to watch that, plus I've never been to AOP. Chocco gets pretty crowded on big rides. Morris is worse though.

Edit: looks like it's not SRRS, just some buggy race. That's less appealing. Might still go.

Knocked an item off my bucket list today. I climbed to the top of Blarney Castle and kissed the Blarney Stone. Ireland is nice, but after nine days I'm ready to come home tomorrow. I miss Tennessee... Plus I have work to do on my XJ before the crawl.

I worked on my XJ today, in preparation for the Crawl. I decided to install a front sway bar and it sure makes a difference riding on the road. It took longer than I hoped due to having to find hardware and figure stuff out. I've never had a swaybar on my XJ since I lifted it.

Now the drive to and from the Crawl will be a little nicer.

Mark also hit Express today and scored me a set of Renix seats and bases in good shape for my XJ. I needed a new drivers seat due to the side bolster being broken. Red seats will match a gray interior, right? Thanks Mark!

Yeah so ive heard. I have never been to chocco though and would go with some other people given the chance.

I'm hoping to be joining you in two weeks.

I went today and ran Rubicon, Chicken Trail, Gauntlet, Cherry Bomb, Scenic view, Redneck, and a few other easier trails. The bottom of Cherry Bomb was a ***** to me. I got into this tree pretty good and ended up with this:

This trail is kinda similar to Palmetto Crossing at Gulches. Today my SYE started leaking from the yoke, not the seal on the tail cone, but it looked like it was coming from the splines of the yoke. Filled it up at the parking lot area and drove it home. Got home and it was dry, so that is a mystery... Also got into my crossmember and exhuast pretty good. I have some kind of problem where i cant keep my exhaust on my XJ. I have damaged/ ripped it off on all but 2 offroad trips over the past year. Now it is knocking against the crossmember and my heat shielding came off of the bottom of the floor pan leaving the burning sheet of adhesive...

AOP races are where it's at. Drivers are putting more on the line there because they are paying way more than SRRS is. I may go in 2 weeks.
