Weekend is over...what did you get done?

Finally figured out what's getting in my trash. Now I have have to figure out how to dispose of my furry friends without stinking up the place.

Right, then I have to go pick up 2 stinking skunks and get rid of them. It'd be nice if I could shoot them somewhere way away from my house.

call animal control? :rof:  :kissyou:

Agenda for the weekend!
Friday: Going to eat and drink with my new girl.
Saturday: Road Trip to Raleigh to meet My mom and sister and watch my Niece play Lacrosse at UNC Chapel Hill. I've never seen her play and never seen a game so this is something new for me!

A new girl! That sounds good! I should be free next week to start looking. We will be legally separated. I don't drink much though! Enjoy!

Lacrosse is a great game, you will enjoy it! If you get a chance watch the boys play, it is fast and full of action. The girls "creators game" is a bit watered down from the boys but they are great to watch none the less. I wish they would let the girls check like the boys do and I think US Lacrosse is going to make girls wear helmets in the near future. Right now only the goalie wears them

Yea I'm looking forward to it. Her dad, my BIL, said to watch UNC play if I could stay that long. I was told by my sis last night that they are going to watch them play after all their games are done. So who knows. I might get to see more then just one game tomorrow.

Did they let you pay by check?

I started to P.M. MEMBERSHIP and remembered that I had too many messages to ever get a response (don't get as many when black)

I phoned a friend who still has an active Paypal and used that instead. She'll just have to give me my new sticker when/if it ever gets there:rof:

Let's see, I installed a new bigger transmission cooler, new Corbeau seats and made some brackets, and replaced my drag link as a temporary fix until I come to a better long term solution. Don't know if I want UTK/ OTK heims or TRE's...

Anyways, here are some pics:

Pm Tyler from rock solid fab for his steering setup. Best steering/trac bar setup

I just installed a RuffStuff UTK 1-ton set up a couple weeks ago. It's a little bit better than the stock set up, but still has it's share of problems. Not that it's a result of ruff stuff, it's just the design (JCR has the same thing with the same issues).

If you to a 1-ton TRE set up, UTK, you're going to have A LOT of roll. JCR sells a poly spacer that takes care of that, but I see it breaking. If you run it OTK, I think that takes away from the roll, but you'll have to cut off your sway bar end link mounts, as well as your stabilizer mount on the axle. Another issue I have UTK is I rub on the diff cover. The irony is my diff cover is made by the same company that made the steering. It's not to far off from full lock when I start to rub, so it's easily fixed by adjusting the steering stops out a little. Going OTK would take care of that, but again, there's a lot more that needs removing to do so (see above). I also chose to use the tapered spacers which only require drilling the knuckles to 7/8" and the pitman arm to 1". Without the spacers, you'd have to get a reamer and ream the holes out...but reamers are $$$$ and the spacers were just a few bucks. I had to replace my 7/8" bit about halfway through and found a new one at Tractor Supply for $18, so still much less than a reamer.

Here's how mine turned out, before installing the spacer:

It was NOT fun to drive for 90 or so miles to get home from my dads shop. I wouldn't have done it if I had another option. Another issue, if you want/like to run a stabilizer like I do, none of these set ups allow for it. With the spacer, it's much easier to drive. I ordered 2 extra spacers to keep on hand. They were only $7/ea from JCR with free shipping.

Overall, i'm still on the fence about the set up. It should get me by for this wheeling season (summer) and perhaps next winter i'll go over to heims or something different.

I thought that was the set up you had. I do not want to have to deal with tie rod roll, that's why I was thinking about the ruffstuff 3/4 heim kit with the tie rod UTK, but I wanted the clearance... That's probably what I will end up with though.

You could give Andy at Ironman a call and tell him your issues and what you want to fix.
