Picked up the new DD today:
More pics to come tomorrow when I get home from work. It's got a couple of paint issues that need to be corrected at the dealer, but i'm beyond excited to have it. I don't think i've stopped grinning since 4:30 today...

It's been washed 2 times by me since I got it last week. It's nasty from a week of driving back and forth in rain this week.

Probably... who knows. Im trying to work a deal for a rear big bearing 9" now, so thats a start.
Never did weigh the pig, but she was HEAVY. not so much now. Not sure what the difference actually is, but with doors, rear hatch, a roof, pillars, all the glass, electronics etc etc... and lots of other useless crap gone, its DEFINITELY lighter. I bet I got rid of 5 pounds of wires from the harness I no longer need!
Got some more tube put on today, got the top mostly finished.

You don't live that far from me. Is the weather that much better over there?? I don't want another convertible/roofless vehicle in Alabama. Too icky out there.... Need. A/C. :sunshine:

After going to Atlanta 4wheel parts jeep and truck Fest with no $$$ I came home and pulled my seats out and removed the factory covers and put em in the wash, gonna pull the front carpet this week and soak it in simple green and pressure wash it. Jeep smells like a$$ and foot, dog,cig, and who knows what.... Will see if there's any improvement

I washed mine since it was readily apparent that it hadn't been washed in at least a couple of years :looser:
I mounted the safari rack on my M1008, then took it to the car wash to get it ready to sell.
I also worked on the YJ's fender flares. Still trying to decide on what type of paint to use on them. Definitely don't want to repaint them the factory color. I've tried finding the textured Krylon Fusion paint but it's nowhere to be found locally.

I got a set of Goodyear Wrangler Duratracs 33x12.50x15 and a set of black wheels with a machined lip, and set of new black lugnuts. All out the door for a grand total of 1200 tax and warranty. Just waiting for the parts to get here on Wed and I can bring the yota in for installation.
