Weekend is over...what did you get done?

I blew oil all over my engine.

Here's what I got done today:

Wired in the Innovate XM-16 wideband 02 sensor, and found out my original 02 sensor wasn't plugged into jack. Also found out that whatever it IS supposed to plug into is missing. The downstream 02 is hooked up though. I'm guessing it's stuck somewhere up above the transmission from the 2wd-4wd conversion I did a while back.

That explains my 10MPG regardless of city/highway driving. I could always smell fuel outside the tailpipe. I thought because it was stroked with 4.6 liters of raw power it just needed to be tuned. Turns out the beast has been using the open-loop/multiple choice answering method to tune the fuel curve. And I thought 33x12.50's with a 6.5 inch lift was my problem.
Tsk Tsk.
But anyways, when I convert to 4.5" with 31x10.50 and I have my wideband 02 hooked up and my SAFC-II altering the fuel curve I'll probably be back to, or maybe even better than, 20 MPGs with my 4.6 torque tyrant.

I also wired in the MSD 6AL and MSD High Vibration ignition today as well.

And used 3 rolls of electrical tape to tape all of it OCD style. After I get everything going good I'm going to buy 10 more rolls of E-tape and OCD the rest of everything else with a wire... just cause. Does anyone else ever have the urge to do this?

re-blacked the trim on Sam's new jeep today with my neighbors heat gun... i think the difference is pretty impressive

Finally got home about an hour ago. Started off at 4:30am Sunday Italy time (10:30pm Saturday EST) leaving for the airport in heavy snow. Boarded around 6:00am and sat on the tarmac hours while they farted around with de-icing the plane. Apparently they suck even more at handling snow there than they do in the south here. After sitting still for 3.5 hours, and the guys who were de-icing the plane killing the power to it TWICE, we finally got to take off but it was too late. Missed the all too important connecting flight in Germany which means even though I got re-booked on the very next flight out, my bag didn't make it. So here I sit in Charlotte and it's still in Frankfurt...PERFECT lol.

All in all though it was an amazing trip. Got to see some beautiful sights of Italy and even got to witness history on the Ferrari test track yesterday morning.

Pics and video to come tomorrow morning. This whole being up for 24 hours and flying halfway around the world thing has me worn out!

Roanoke College? My son went there for a semester, "pricey" is all I have to say!

Yea that is it. I doubt he will be able to go unless he can get a lot of scholarship $$$$$$.

hmmm...this weekend I managed to find some new trails(that are legit legal and have permission) with a mix of mud and rocks, which is a rarity around here. Just sucks they take an hour and a half to get to. Also FINALLY picked up a new radio and some speakers for the rig. Got tired of skipping new CDs. Lastly, started the mental process of the future chopping of the cargo area and working in my budget some $$$ for the cage.

Were is this wheeling spot?

Were is this wheeling spot?

up towards Carthage, NC. Not sure of the exact location as I was in a small convoy only following turn signals. It was my understanding that it used to be an old ATV park, but the trails are plenty wide enough. I wish I had some photos, but my passenger was slacking. Where at in Charlotte are you, I went to UNCC for a few years and know of a few places, just not sure if they are still open or not.
