Weekend is over...what did you get done?

I'm used to a 40ish hour work week... I'm trying to get used to a 60-70 hour work week. I'M wore out! Always 6 days a week, sometimes sunday too. 5am-3:30pm every day. They pay good though. time and a half overtime and double time on sunday. The paycheck makes it worth it.

And still trying to get some stuff done to the Jeep when I get home... not working out so well.

I'm still waiting on my wrench and dial indicator to get here...

Yeah I used to do that schedule a couple of years ago.

almost done with my waggy! all that's left is to repair a cooler line, fill it with fluid, put in the driveshafts, and line up the crossmember. the crossmember is being a pain, so that and the cooler line will hafta wait until tomorrow afternoon. i'll go on out there now and install the driveshafts. i have a buddy coming over to help me button it up when i get outta school, so i should get do drive my jeep again this week! woot!!

Man I'm glad to see you got it going. I couldn't do that drive, my Cherokee is hating life right now. I just changed the valve cover gasket since I got this jeep. Wow what engine sludge, I used a plastic spoon to scoop it out. I mean it was horrible. Probabl holding the entire engine together. Wednesday though I'm getting the intake exhaust manifold gasket replaced.

blew another 3 quarts of oil out of my rear main seal... it's now been 15 thousand miles since I changed the oil and it's cleaner than it was 5 minutes after it was changed.

Picked up 97+ nose/fenders in the same color as my '98, putting them on shortly :D

man, i understand. you can do that gasket yourself. it's not something you can mess up easily, and you'll have a sense of pride when your motor is purring like a wildebeast again.:guitar:

I'll take a good paying job that kills!

Thats what I said when the position opened up, I have no intention of quitting or giving up haha. Just had a bad night on friday, No maintenance guys were working so anything that broke stayed broken, made for alot of chaos for me, alot of extra paperwork, and meant for very little production which looks bad on me, fortunately my supervisor understood the issues and said not to worry about it.

I know it just feels like a hopeless battle. I read on another post someone said if the piston rings go bad at highway speeds it revs higher and shoots oil into the air filter. I just want my Jeep going the way it was meant to be. It's damn depressing haha.

Saw Ringo Starr and the All Star band. AWSOME SHOW! party1:

Helped High2by make room for the new MJ. Towed with the wifes 2002 Dodge Dakota Quad Cab for the first time. Did really well. I was impressed.

Posted my first picture on NAXJA since I joined in 2007.

I am quite jealous. Only thing better than an MJ is 2 of them :dunno:

I still owe him a set of cab plastics, the parts train fell through, not sure how to get em there now.
