Vanilla Gorrilla blog

Made some progress tonight. Pulled the carpet and all the floor trim in preparation for some new holes to be made. I think ill need a new carpet or rubber floor. This thing was nasty!

Its still soaked from the rain a month ago. There is alot a mildew on the floor boards. But i guess thats better than alot of rust.

Yeah that was from when i had a big super 40 muffler that had been smashed into the floor. It was pretty much cooking all the paid and seam sealer of the inside of the floor. Then i had a leak for who knows how long at the windshield resulting in a soaked floor and a bit of rust then occurred.

I have since redone the exhaust so that smell hasnt been hapening in a while. Im probably going to strip the affected areas and paint seal them again. Then get a new heavy shielded carpet and use some husky liners for the floor. I like being able to hear after a two hour drive so i dont think i could just go vinyl.

The 240k auto and 92 motor have been removed. Motor is already sold. Anyone want a 97 4x4 auto for 50$.

In its place will be a proper 97 motor with 97 cam. But a 93 head. 99' intake. Apn header. Ax15.

Dont know if im going to attempt putting in the doubler and flipped d300. We will see what it all looks like tomorrow. I have to be out of this garage by the end of the month. We are moving to pleasant hill. Not a far move but the garage space is a bit smaller and the driveway is not as easy to work in as it is now. Very slanted. Not even sure the guerilla will fit in the garage. Even at its measly 3" of lift.

Well the trans swap is done enough to move it. Still waiting on another steering shaft joint for my agr box and then its mobile again. Then driving it over to the new house in pleasant hill. Then tearing the crossmember back out and building a custom c channel 1/4" x 8". And doubler and dana 300 and shifters. Then rebuild the floor before sierrafest.

Spontainious moving sucks balls. Also never move during summer. On a side note i got a 12ton press for fathers day. My wife is amazing. And ill be getting a new 52" tool box set next week so that will be fun. Im sorry there are no pics so ill just post this up in honor of my 10 aniversary to MrsSmasho next week.
