It looks like I might be able to make it now. As soon as my vacation request clears and if my tow hooks ever show up, I'm gonna go. I pmed you my phone number and I would appreciate yours. Then we can set a time and place. As well as, keep you informed as to weather or not I'm gonna make it or not.PoSxJ said:I do, It's farther from my house and closer to yours!!! No that's cool. I could use some starbucks before we go anyways. Hope more guys can meet up with us.
Roads if you want to meet somewhere in Gresham and go together up to starbucks just let me know.
GATMOG said:that sounds like loads of fun--i'm new to this area, umm is there a final word on where/when the portland caravan is meeting up?
Is there a decent hotel there at NP? How far from Brown's is that? (Driving time?)pdxxjnoob said:Hey Hey! Welcome! For the Saturday Expedition, we're meeting up at the McDonalds in North Plains at 8:30, and rolling out by 9 am. The guys on the Eastside are still undecided I think. I think us West siders are free-for-alling it over to NP.
Awesome!! Thank you!! :clap:pdxxjnoob said:Sniggs:
I've looked on google, and google maps and no hotels pop up for anything in North Plains or Banks, OR. Check out Hillsboro, or Beaverton.
NP is about 10 minutes from Banks, or 25-30 minutes from NP to Brown's Camp.
Found a few results. Best bet looks like a Budget Inn in Forest Grove, which is likewise probably still a 20-25 minute drive to Browns Camp. Or, you could do the Wingate Inn, just off of 26 before reaching North Plains. Hope that helps...
I will likely have the majority of my Jeep open to passengers. It ain't the cleanest, but it's dry. Well, dry-ish.WesternXJ said:Anyone have an open seat? My wife and I are going to be camped at Browns Camp and I'd like to put some faces with screen names.
Glad to hear you'll be making it. Are you planning on staying around TSF through Sunday, in order to meet/wheel with the rest of us WA guys?GATMOG said:i am 100% confirmed for the halsey 102nd rendevous, will be there before 7:10 just in case =-]
its an honor to join you guys! will be keeping my cb on ch4 for the convoy unless informed otherwise.
I'll be arriving with the Wa guys Sat. evening, and camping/staying there. I will most likely crash in the back of the heep. I've got it down to a science, actually.mojojojo said:So who all is planning on camping out overnight?
