Towing weight

I am thinking about picking up two snowmobiles off a buddy. I know from what the manuals say that xj's should be able to(weight wise) pull two sleds and a trailer does anyone have any personal excperience with towing sleds with there xj, especially going up the I70 corriduor? It's a 95 xj country 4.0 H.O soon to have dana 44's under it with 4:10's

NOpe not myself, but I've been on I-70 and seen two stock xjs pulling up two sleeds each. one passed me the other stuck behind me tell the summit then they took the exit there.

As far as going up I-70 get off the freeway and go up Clear Creek Canyon toward Central City. Then turn left at the traffic light just before CC. That will take you right back to I-70. The route is shorter and by-passes the steep up and down hills of I-70 before Idaho Springs. You'll be able to maintain the speed limit (45) and it's easier on your rig.

Yeah I live in boulder so I typically go through the canyon anyways to get to I-70. I was just seeing what anyone's input was I'd hate to have some nice sleds that I can't move around w/ the xj.

I don;t think you'll have many problems man, just worse gas mileage
