To Do List

NV241- installed and ready
Re-gear - rear axle ready, front not so much
35's - not yet...
steering - .....

Replace exploded D30 - not yet
...that's about it.

Replace the gears in Adam's new D30 with marshmallow - not yet
Loosen a few random bolts on Colin's Jeep - not yet

installed my belly pan mmmmm beefy
fixed interference between the sub and the CB
got my aux fan to work again
got the SYE parts on order
so its kinda coming together

Still need to do:
-Unibody tie-in's for rear bumper
-Install front bumper brackets (I have them all cut and ready to go... just gotta pick up hardware and bolt em on)
-Install SYE T-case and hope it works nice (and pick up ZJ front driveshaft)
-297x D30 shafts - found some but couldn't get the nut off. Going to call and see how much if I pull it hub and all. Maybe buying tomorrow.
-Build/install my steering (got all major parts/tools though)
Possible other stuff:
-maybe a winch on front bumper
-maybe/hopefully rock rails (looking into high clearnace rockers with unibody tie ins, maybe unibody plating)
-hopefully skids
-possibly coil spacers to compensate for lift lost due to bumper
-possibly long arms

I think the only thing on my "to do list" is to figure out whether I'm even going to try and show up or not. The rest follows from there...

Here's the full list, I think I probably left out a few minor things. Lot of work to do before a shakedown run.

Entire fuel system (cell, pump, reg, lines)
Entire brake system (MC, lines, etc)
Front driveshaft (cut down a stocker for now) - CUT DOWN, AWAITING JOINTS
Re-gear front D60 - DONE
Plate and mount steering knuckles - DONE
Final assembly both axles - REAR DONE
Cover hole in pass floor from link mount - STARTED
Belly pan - STRUCTURE DONE
Skin rockers
Paint interior
Remount seats, harnesses, etc

To do/buy:
Front spindles - PURCHASED
Rear driveshaft - PURCHASED
Trans Cooler - PURCHASED
Triple rate springs/sliders - PURCHASED
Brake hoses - PURCHASED
Mopar TPS and IAC - Ross hooking me up for the TPS, IAC I found a spare.

Misc Hardware

fuel/brake systems seem to be the biggest thing left, and that's not even bad! well, a bumper too, but damn, you're CLOSE! :woohoo:

Yup, I've got the entire front end from the windshield forward out (minus the engine and 1/2 the harness) and all over the place. I need to assemble all of that and then run my lines.
Depending on time I might "loan" Colin's old front bumper just for NACFest. We'll see. The front bumper and the outer fenders are the absolute last on the list.

Sounds like one or two solid, focused weekends and you'll be cruisinnnnnnn

Hahahahahahaha! I wish.
It will be much more than "just" two weekends. There is a lot of little stuff not on the list that eats time. I'm shooting for "about" a month.

- figure out why my t-case front output pops out of low range
- wheel this coming weekend (pending above) and the weekend of the RCQ
- take out rear axle & crossmember, rework for coilovers
- new frame-side mounts for coilovers
- acquire coilovers, springs, sliders, etc
- reinstall axle & crossmember
- NAC-Fest

Guess that ain't too bad, right?

Anytime you need an optimistic attitude, you just call this guy :thumbup:

they have a tendancy to do that. take the shifter rail out and grind a deeper slot or get a stiffer spring.

My to-do list:

-Make enough money to fix my rig and bring it

I just realized I'll only have $300($100 goes just to a place to stay) and it would cost $250(very optimistic calculation) to drive the J10 down. Don't get me started on how much it's going to cost to get that truck back running.

WITH THAT SAID

-I'm eating nothing but turkey sandwiches and saving all my money and devoting any time possible to get to wheel down there this year. Trying to sell some stuff too!

WOOOOO NACFEST!!!

LOL... that would be cool to have a J10 there too, you gotta get it together and bring it down...
