To Do List

Lets see, my list is:

Nothing, I'm too cool to go wheeling.

Same haha :D

Not much to do on my heep...

finish rear bumper and put that on
put in new front shafts
winch controls
disc conversion
WJ booster/MC swap

none of that really has to get done to wheel it though, I just need a couple stupid little things and then I can wheel.

To do:
- weld on HD stiffeners (get rears too probably)
- swap in clutch fan (twin stock e-fans don't cut it in the summer) ||| DONE
- get more spare front axleshafts ||| Getting some from Mark on Saturday

I think that's it...:dunno:. There's more I COULD do, but nothing that's a requirement.

Damn I'm on a roll...even got my bumper/winch mounted this past weekend with the help of Adam.

to do:

ruffstuff stiffys check
hd offroad front stiffys
hd front crossmember
fab up a 3 link check
fab up a belly skid
stick a detroit locker in my 60check
stick 60 under jeep
stick 44 under jeepcheck
stick 35's on allieds under jeep1/2 check
compete in the rcrocs clubchallenge on april 10th

want to do list:
rear tire carrier bumper
rear 1/4 protection
cage

oh and i know for a fact i am missing a few things on this list

actual things that should be done:
-front pinion bearingsDONE!!!
*even went the extra mile and did a new yoke, seal, and nut*

biggest thing to do:
-commit to goingKINDA DONE!!

the biggest concerns in the jeep are now taken care of. as long as nothing else too major happens, the jeep is good to go.

Yes, the rear brakes are almost almost ALMOST toast, but theyll last enough as long as i stop driving it as much. i also need to stop driving it so the outta balance front d-shaft doesnt eat another pinion bearing

splurge a little and pick up a $40 driveshaft and $15 brakes

oh man that's really babying your jeep sam.

New bumper/winch?? What did you get? PICS!!

A chance to picwhore my new bumper/winch...?

OF COURSE!

AJ built me a tucked in slickrok, and i bought an m8000.

BLAM!

Adam came over on Sunday and helped me remote mount the solenoid box under the hood. Connector is run to the header panel.

I might/probably will grab another d-shaft, but id rather find a source on just a longer travel slip yoke and spline section like a woods shaft and build my own.

if i could rebuild the rear brakes for $15 i would, im just too cheap to buy everything since it should be all rebuilt. i MAY swap some discs on, but only if i can pull a complete JY setup for under $40

I kinda feel left out because i dont have a long list.
1)Fix my loose lower control arms
2)Fix my winch
3)Get some spare parts(Just in case)

Haha, this bumper went head first into many trees yesterday, including a 15-20mph or so head-on impact, which bent the plated front unibody.

I think Colin should add something to his list.

-Get a new Jeep because this one probably won't last until NACfest
