the big difference between our builds is you are doing some nice metalwork in places where i used a sledge:laugh: (note, i didnt beat the crap out of it, merely "massaged" it)

work looks awsome, great to see another low COG XJ build

If we didn't have the equipment and the tools we have then we'd probably do alot more "massaging" as well :)

Looks good! I was glad to finally finish my xj build with jk axles. Let me know if you want any parts for that jk d30. I have 2 sitting in the shop that have newish ARB air lockers in them. One has 4.88 and the other has 5.13 gears in it. I also have 2 sets of chrom axles with super u joints in them.

See you guys in rubicon for Jeepers. Do you think you'll have it ready by then?

Subscribed. So far i have loved all the TJ builds. Couple inches of lift on 40's was SICK! Looking forward to the end result. May have to come to the shop some time to get the front inner fenders done like that as well!

The fronts are actually fairly easy to do... I'll hold final opinions until it's back on suspension and we have a tire placed were it goes...

Inner fender all welded up. The filler was a b**** to fit up but it turned out nice once completed.

Got the body work in the rear started and mostly finished over the weekend.

What are plans for flares? If any at all. Id like to see someone manufacture some front and rear tube flares that are actually appealing!

We'll be running it with no flares.

So would I :)

We have no plans to design any. There is no good way to mount them and making a full replacement fender or rear corner takes some high dollar tooling that we can't afford.

The rear axle reinstalled

We're currently playing with the front one to see how far foward we can get it before the steering crashes on itself.

About 4", and massage the track bar to clear the pumpkin. :)

Nice work, Bob. Should look great and be fun to drive.

Several of you have PM'd me or posted up about whether or not we'll be offering the front inner fender panels. With this much interest how could we not :D. Give me a few days and I'll get some pricing worked up for you. The only thing I don't know is how well they will fit in an early model. The red line in the circled area seen below is the front edge profile in my 99' which may or may not be the same in the earlier body styles. Of course these won't be a direct bolt in anyway, some trimming may be required for fitment.
