Can you leave it somewhere in Fresno, head home, then head back up?

Iv'e got a Clayton's track bar with bracket you can borrow to get it home.

Made it home with but not without some heat issues. Had to pull over at the 1st water turn off on the grape vine to let the jeep cool. Ran into the red but after it cooled down it ran between 210 and 240. Most of the drive through the central valley was like this :/ just happy to be home. Looking forward to doing this again next year.

Wife is here w/truck. Getting hammered at hotel bar. U-Haul tomorrow. Expensive weekend. Just glad to be alive. Track bar let go in Academy. Limped it to Fresno. If track bar let go on mountain road coming down from Shaver, they would be recovering my body out of a ravine.

That is scary man! Glad you made it out safe. We stopped right before the big grade out of shaver with Richards brakes on fire and another guys pitman arm about ready to fall off. That trail takes a toll on your junk.

two ratchet straps on the front axle in an 'X' pattern would get you home. I have driven 200 miles that way in the past....should be able to make it the 300 miles.

Me too. Hopefully next year Sebastian, myself, and possibly Charlotte can return. I don't see Holly going, trail is too rough for her tastes.

The trail was in good condition this year too.

She doesn't really particularly care for much more than a fire road or low moderate trail.
