Someone not in the know could easily think megasquirt is one big, nitrous squirt

exactly what i was thinking. i have no clue about eng mgnt. got a line on 99 injectors and rail. and a 95 distributor. so all 4.0 (except 99+ of course) dist. are the same?
 
That 99 rail is the same 49psi as your 98 rail and the injectors flow 22.5#--.7# less than your 98 injectors(which are too small IMO), so I'd leave it alone. If it's included w/ the 99+ intake, fine, but if you can pay less w/o it, do it.
 
the 96-98 injectors are the same? and the fuel rail from 96-01 are the same? correct me if i'm wrong.
 
best/cheapest place to get .030 pistons? i'm going to get the block bored after christmas is over. so far i havent got any further on the build :( as soon as the economy picks up and i'm gettin more then 40 hours at work, its a slow process. since i'm going this route i need the lt1 injectors right?
 
the only progess ive got was, dissasenble both engines and got a rustys tb spacers NIB for $35. the main thing that holds me back is a header and machine work.
 
throttle body spacers dont? i bought them from a guy used. but never opend from the bag.

i'd like to get a 99+ intake to but everone wants $125+. this seems a little high.
 
i was told that i could get the block bored .020 over and get bigger rings, true? were could i get them?
 
were can i get some cheap (low priced) pistons? i really dont want to spend $250 for just pistons. thats why i'm thinking about just keeping stock ones.
