get some radials already. toe out is seriously some of the scariest driving I've ever experience. I was 1/4" toe out and thought I was gonna die the jeep steered itself. have you tried like 1/8 or 1/4 toe in?
if it comes down to being a tire issue, I might just grab some 35" MTRs brand new for the next few months, It looks like I can get them for around 820$ for 4 after an 80$ rebate right now. That might be a good short run solution. they measure 34.8 new, my 36s measure about 35.33 right now so not much loss of clearance, then do some 37s or 40s sometime next year.
ya they are 202$ each right now with 80$ in rebates and I plan on asking 4wp to see if they will do free shipping to in-store and also to see if they do any pirate4x4 discounts on them as well. only reason 35s and not 37s is that the 37s are 17s only and around 1400$, which means ill spend another 300$+ on rims and all of a sudden I'm spending 2000$ on tires. the 35 mtrs will be fine for one more season and honestly probably re-sell strong around 800$ and I should be to get a nice chunk out of my iroks- if I go this route. . I am having no luck finding 37 mtrs on CL. found a set of 5 and now they wont call me back...
Just called 4wp and the MTRs are on massive backorder, like 8 week minimum, and possibly something crazy like december, but they are on sale for 202$ right now with the 80$ rebate which is crazy cheap.
I feel like my irks are probably not so bad a choice and ill keep searching on CL for now.
Shop around online. When I got my 33's tey had the $80 Visa card and an extra $50 one for a 4 tire purchase. I think tire rack has them for 204$ and 80 gift card. Shipping is like $60
Ya already checked tire rack too. Same as 4wp.
Fixed the DW for now. Put toe in to 1/16 and caster was 7.5 on pass side and 10.5 on driver. Brought driver in to 7.5 . Also slapped a spare tire without a bent rim too. It's way better . A have some steering wheel feedback here and there but no full blown DW anymore. At this point I'll prolly just wait for the hydro stuff to go on and see if it's better then. Still want some old style 37/12.5/15s so I don't have to buy 17s but we will see. The 37s are on sale now too. Also looking at radial treps too but they are heavy . Steering is way better with the j10 box and the new pump. At least now I can wheel.
Nice! You going 8 lug in front soon? Used to follow your thread to get ideas, but you have gone WAY beyond what I want to do at this point! Good wheeler Jon, hope you get lots of wheeling in this year!

Ive gone way past where I wanted to go at this point too.
Id like to eventually go 8 lug front. Not sure if ill even bother with 8 lug outers or build a different front end. I have been working on alignment and bump stops and half doors lately. I am happy with the hp44 for now. I am hoping to run it for years at this point.
Ive been considering going Jana 54 gears, grizzly, and 30 spline outer version of RCVs in the distant future, but probably would just do a 60 at that point.
Just change the outers and wheel it bro! Unless you just enjoy the tinkering. I like it, but just want to enjoy my truck now. I'm actually starting to look at interior restoration and a paint job (my last one super oxidized not sure why...?) because I want my wife to like my Jeep like I do!

For those looking into MTR-k/Duratracs do not forget, if you become a treadlighty.org member (min is 25$) you get an additional 100$ rebate on GY tires!
Rig wont drive straight worth a damn on the road. going to swap stabilizer out and it seems the drag link and track bar hems are loose and making noise. Ordered 4 new RS 7/8x7/8 rod ends and going to swap in a spare stabilizer to see if it helps with the crappy all over the road feel.
