Time for an update on my '99 Chili-Pepper Red Cherokee Classic transformation. I think I've done a pretty good job of sticking to my "Keepin' it clean" approach while I've continued to improve it's trail riding abilities. Overall I'm happy with it, but there's still so much more I want to do!

A few months of work has brought me from this:

To this: (Front end by T&T Customs)

And from this:

To this: (Rear end by Detours)

And since I'm no good at taking action shots of myself... Here's me doing a little flexin' on the Jungle Trail at Hollister courtesy of Bryan C.

Other recent modifications not visible in my pics include an '87 Trac-loc D44 modified to retain factory ABS, a SuperWinch EPi9.0S, DPG Gas Tank and Belly Skids, Tom Wood's 242 SYE and CV Driveshaft, trailer wiring hook-up, factory Extended Idle switch, and a whole bunch of Carling switches for in-cab winch controls and some other accessories I have yet to add. Oh yeah, and an official "Trail Rated" Badge which scored me tons of horsepower and articulation as well! :roflmao:

here's mine,
3 link, 5.5 coils 3.5 leaves with 2 inch shackle and shackle box moved down. 4.56 gears, arbs, alloys, warn hubs, 35's on beadlocks, and still no front bumper...

thanks
:D
I still haven't gotten to take it to the trail!
I'm installing front gears and ARB currently

oh and Billy's picking up my bilsteins in Sac currently and I have thor guards on the way.
I'm stoked!

hey jimbo could you do me a favor and write down the dimensions and measurements for the cage for me? I have been thinking about doing one on mine since i did my first tip over. I am just curious how much material it will take...

Also how to tie it into the jeep. Ive seen some people basically plate the entire floor of the jeep with plate and spot weld that in place and then weld the cage to that but i dont want to do that..

nice rig man. very clean. do you have lockers or something? cause if I flex out like that I spin tires like a mo-fo... I have to take a different line. I just ran that trail yesterday... it was all muddy, and slippery... made it fun:sunshine:

oh.... dooieeee...... I'm a bright one...
