Renix ac delete pulley

I think I have a spare bracket w/pulley at home.

Looks simple, a plate bolts to the AC bracket, and then the pulley bolts to it. I would need to see one to take measurements from but looks like it could be easy to make.

Actually, the better thing to do is to make the bracket to accomodate the alternator and get it out from the bottom of the motor.

Bingo.

Also while you're at it look at re-creating the fan stem (the hunk of aluminum all that crap bolts to). Those are also out of production and do fail, there is no replacement.

Anyone feel like spending a day at my place sometime to do the alternator relocation and fan stem prototypes. I don't feel like taking my AC out to do that...

Just come by and grab the MJ. It has the AC delete anyhow.

Web dog it would be so bad ass to be able to buy a bolt on relocation bracket that accepts a higher amp alternator. I know the renix ones suck and there are way to swap them in but its a pain in the ass. But since we all contributed to the idea everyone in this thread should get a little piece of the profit. :)

for a renix, i think even you can do it.... re-use the lower alt bracket, add a couple bolts, nuts and washers... and fab up a bannana bracket (2 3/8ths holes, same plane, about 1.75" apart)

but i agree, i told webdog he shouldve been making these at least a year ago!
