Saw this on another forum
Today on our way in to a restaurant for lunch, we passed a homeless guy with a sign that read 'Vote Obama, I need the money.' we just laughed.
Once in the restaurant our waiter had on a 'Obama 08' tie. Again we laughed as he had given away his political preference--just imagine the coincidence.
When the bill came we decided not to tip the waiter and explained to him that we were exploring the Obama redistribution of wealth concept. He stood there in disbelief while we told him that we were going to redistribute his tip to someone whom we deemed more in need--the homeless guy outside. The waiter angrily stormed from our sight.
We went outside, gave the homeless guy the $10 tip and told him to thank the waiter inside as we decided he could use the money more. The homeless guy was very grateful.
At the end of this rather unscientific redistribution experiment, I realized the homeless guy was grateful for the money he did not earn, while the waiter was angry that I gave away the money he worked to earn - even though the actual recipient needed money more.
I guess redistribution of wealth is an easier thing to swallow in concept than in practical application (just ask the waiter)
OR…IS THE REDISTRIBUTION OF SOMEONE ELSE'S WEALTH A GREAT IDEA..or is it just a fools game ??
