My plan is to leave Fresno at 8:00, I can meet people at the Prather Market, right there at the Auberry/168 intersection around 8:30.

I plan to make a full day of it, actually get to Coyote Lake this time.

Requirements are low, but the trail is tuff, so if you just have a stock Jeep, it has to have at least one tow point and rocker protection unless you don't care about battle scares. I also recommend you only go as far as Red Lake, the first half of the trail is plenty of fun for most.

Plan for a lot of dust, it may get cold or maybe a little chilly in the morning.

Post up if you plan on going, or have any further questions. So far myself, Neil and my Brother-in-law will be going.

So its go up Saturday morning and turn around and come out Sunday? Is that the plan?

Hay Thanks Chuck I’m not real sure what my plans are yet but I’ll be stopping in Salida anyway to pick up a friend that is coming with me if you want I could pick up some stuff, as long as it’s not like two sets of tiers.

did a run on the red/coyote trail last month....GREAT TRAIL! and the most beautiful lake {coyote} if all possible spend the nite...you'll be sorry if you don't yes, take water rafts or other..the lake is BIG AND CLEAR! we had some jeep repairs... 1. broken clip on rear yoke. 2. a bent tie-rod that looked like a boom'er rang. 3. hole in a oil pan. CHECK YOUR TIRES!! TAKE REPAIR KITS AND A SPARE. they will get a work-out

sorry i can't make it....running 'last chance canyon' on sunday.

I think I could do the 30 maybe. Is it drum to drum or just the housing or what? Your on your own with the tiller. My jeep is afraid of yard tools.

My dad has decided to use the tiller this past week and so it is not available right now, the 30 is however. I will around in the afternoon I think, just give me a call on my cell-(209)815-4827. I need to be in Sac sometime tomoorow but I am not sure when. If Bronco really wanted he could pick up the 30 and bring it down. I am trying for this run also so we will see.

Ok my plan at long last is to meet up with chuck and whoever at Prathe around 8:30 then stay till Sunday as long as there will be someone to go out with. This doesn’t sound like the kind of trail that should be done solo. So you’re going to head back Saturday night Chuck?

Why you makin me get up early on a Saturday Chuck? Let me know when you leave your place and I'll catch you at Fowler and 168.

Does Neil need a wakey up call to, how about I have some juice and a doughnut ready to for ya buddy, :D

If you guys want to adjust the time to 9 ro 9:30, I guess that would be ok,

Mark, it depends on where you camp, from what I had seen of Red Lake look like decent camping, and your rig is more than capable to get to Red and back out on your own. But Jay, makess it sound pretty tempting to stay at Coyote.

Mark, don't worry about that D30, I thnk Rob can just trip over it somemore, ;)

My plan is to stlll head out on Saturday night.

No the time is ok with me... A bed time story would be nice though:rattle:

Hay I’ll take you up on that Juice and doughnuts offer Chuck. I like the OJ with the juice bits thanks. And we are talking about Krispy Kremes Right?!

Unfortunately I cannot make it this time, my wife seems to think that we need money to pay bills or something like that so I need to work.

My wife is leaving town the weekend before Halloween if some one wanted to do a run, theres no objections when their out of town. I will have both my kids or I can get a sitter for them. Just a thought if you wanted to go more than once this month.
