Project "Red Rocket"

just "OK"??? now come on, your bumper looked "OK", this one looks Cheesetastic!! :D

damn, forget that last comment, I looked back on the "important" thread and I already commented your bumper looked sweet, so I can not downgrade it to "OK" now....I hate eating crow :D

I like how you tied in the 1/4 gurades into the frame area with those braces. I thought about something like that but since this is a glorified street machine, it wont see much wheeling and the chances of the 1/4 guards receiving much damage is not likely. My 93 has the same bumper and I have beat down on it very hard and it has caused no problems, the only diff is that the one on my 93 has the unibody tie in brackets and D-rings.

I like your rear....

bumper that is :D

were is the tailor hitch mounted cheese machine

it is actually a power inverter in the cab...like "Pimp my Ride" style! :D

lol..well, let me think about it :D The new welder is SOOOO nice compared to my old little 110 flux. I bought anew Hobart 187 this weekend and it lays out beautiful welds....questionable..pshhhhh hahaha! .!.:D.!.

when I went to weld the feet on the rear bumper, I did not have the gas turned on, but it did not take long for me to get the hang of that..

Cheese "gonna make a few bumper jigs for future use" Man

well, the rear bumper is finished and on the rig. Last night I put the last bit of paint on it and had some sort of reaction and it fish eyed and cracked in a few places...not sure why since it was the exact paint I laid the first 2 coats with. :dunno: While installing it by mysef I managled to loose grip on it and dropped the heavy sumbiotch on my foot and busted my toe. Anyho, here are a couple pics of the final bit of work. I know the pic quality sucks but I am back to using my phone b/c my new camera is junk.

I welded in a ballistic fab skull that I had left over from another project..just b/c it looked cool.

side shot ( a bad one at that) of the painted bumper installed

I drove teh rig to town today to get inspected and tags....those claws are bad enough, but couple that with sitting for about 2 months and they were like driving into town in a tractor with flat spots on the tires. :farmer:

I def need to get some new tires for daily driving, prob of the AT flavor. I am also gonna ned to put on some drop brackets or long arms. Mild driveline vibes, but should be fine once SYE is installed. As with all projects..it is a work in progress.

Cheeseman-OUT!

Looks good

i need to try and search for the quarter trim like you got there, every time i do i just find the wheel well cut and fold then my search A.D.D kicks in and i say F it

You should feel bias TSLs for the first few miles in the winter after they've sat for a few months. like square tires. I can't believe I dd'd those things for a while.
What size are the claws and are they wheelable?

Looks like ass.
Make me a front bumper for my F250

and we all know you're an authority on Jeeps that look like ass.

the claws are 33x12.50's and 2 of them are great tread, the other 2 are fair
