Project "Red Rocket"

-9 degrees this morning on the way to work...and the ol' girl fired right up and purred like a kitten! I really need to back flush the heater core to get the heat working better, I think that there is a possibility it does not have a thermostat in it as well. May dig in this weekend to find out.....

Cheese "I am getting tired of wrenching on rigs here lately" Man

well...if anyone is interested in this rig let me know. It is officially for sale. My last remaining little Nissan chore truck laid down on me this morning and it is toast, so I am gonna need another 4x4 mini truck. PM me if interested.

if the rig is not sold this week, "Project Circumcision" will begin. It will be getting cut.

back from the dead...LOL, I sold that thing for like $2300 and it was been sold a few times since....Cherokee appreciation..huh, I think NOT! Best of luck to the seller...oh, and nice bumpers, are those Cheeseman Fab units?? Oh, why yes they are! :D

Cheese "short arms and no drop brackets=harsh ride" Man

"Rides like a new car" Tihh. Cherokees never rode like a new car, even when they were new.

Too bad you don't wanna go snatch the thing up.

HA! Right....

it had a hacked hole in the floor of the tranny tunnel the size of a watermelon, I had to cut and replace it wth another from the scrap yard. It was low milage and zero rust, but it rode like a lumber wagon and was repainted at some point. I had to replace the hatch b/c it was rearended at some point as well..but it is like new :D It would be a great building platform due to the milage and no rust aspect..and it was pretty clean for what work I had to do it it.

You bought it out of Chicago impound yard, didn't you?
I am sure a sweet little old lady just mistakenly parked it in front of a fire hydrant some Sunday morning, that is why the popo took it.....

Actually this one was bought from another member in Champaign, IL, the Impound Build was the project I did for my brother...who doubled his money via a CL person! There is a sucker born every minute.....:D
