Project "Red Rocket"

Looks great Tyler, it'll be awesome after you finish with it. Nice work my friend. If you ever decide to build another one of those front bumpers, please put me on the list.

I would consider building a few more. We can work something out if you want one.

I could do one with D-ring as well, would not be too much more work if I planned to do them ahead of time. I put them in my winch bumper on Goldie and they only took maybe an additional hour to do.

I might even request one delivered to WF if the price is right... (Beer-pay for delivery??) :D

since all 3 of you guys are talking about a build for a 97-up, I could do a single run of them and make them all the same and save 3 different set ups. given the price and time frame, I could probably work it out to bring 2 to WF and deliver Collin his in person in DSM. Let me do alittle figuring and see what I can come up with as far as price and make it worth my time and still able to save you guys some $$. If you are fine with doing the finish grinding/light weight filler on your own, that will make a big price difference.

Flash, I am sure we could work out some beer or cheese pay since your rollin in from WI!! I like sharp cheddar or aged swiss, and Spotted Cow :D

You could make enough to pay for a torch or plasma for you shop :D

lol..I am getting a new welder soon and now I may have an even more viable excuse as to why! :D I have a buddy close by with a nice plasma, so he might be doing some of that work for me....we work on the beer and barter system usually

Nachoz n Bacon Offroad: we build bumpers, drink beer, and smother bacon in nacho cheese! :D

Sounds like a good shop slogan to me! :dunno:

I might be down for a rear bumper pending price and pictures. Trying to attend WF11.

Keep up the good work! Jeep looks clean on the outside.

Rear bumper is all but finished. I am going to cap of the risers under the tail lights for a nicer look, but all in all it looks damn good. no D-rings on it eiither b/c I am still staying with a clean look. My recovery point on the back of this rig is going to be the receiver hitch w/ clevis. Pics to be up soon.

here is a shot of it mounted and the filler box under the tail light. It actually follows the cruve of the hatch very well, just not showing it real well in this pic. I am lovin my new welder....

here is another shot of it off the rig. I am finishing up back side welds and will cap off the filler plates and a little primer n paint and she is done.

I can't believe this was a cheap Jeep. You can't touch a rusted ****box here for that, let alone a late model, even with "some issues". I can admit I'm more than a little jealous. Nice bumpers.
