no I mean its a totally different style of rotor that this dizzy takes
Primus sucks
Go to parts store, get dizzy rotor for 94 4.0l. Find dizzy that fits that rotor.

Looks like parts switched in 94, could be a mid year change. So could have an older style, or could have the other? As long as you have the right cap/rotor for that particular dizzy and the cam position sensor plug is the same it shouldn't matter I would think.
I know a guy named Dr Dezzy, he may be able to figure this out for you
The top one looks like a Renix distributor. Underneath that metal piece you should find the camshaft position sensor, a hall-effect sensor. You will also see that the sensor can be clocked in two positions.
I highly doubt the Renix and HO use compatible parts even if the plugs are the same.
Really? I was pretty sure all the 6 cyl HOs used the same dizzy...
That last .25" is probably your oil pump lining up with the slot in the dizzy...
