That's a cool shot Sequoia. More jealous than ever.

Had a great time. Just didn't realize that sand could be so hard. Ended up bending my front axle housing. Lucky for me that a good friend lives in
Arroyo Grande and has a car trailer, because when I got it on the road it felt like I was driving on the inside of a cement mixer. I'm not sure if I'm going to straighten it out and truss it or get a new housing from sombody.

I'll have a DANA 30 HP housing up for grabs in 2-3 weeks.

Let me know

I will have a HP30 next week available. Where you live?

what did you do to bend it?

I went around a sand bowl and probably found the only ditch out there at 30 MPH. I should have mentioned it's a HP44, so thanks for the offers but I'm going to have to find another front 44.
Mark.

Bummer, Mark. That was a pretty hard hit.....good thing I didn't hit it with mine cause I already have the tubes welded to the pumpkin after cracking the housing on a JV rock.

Looks like some axle trussing is in order, and sooner rather than later.......

Damn Mark, couldn't just be that drag link :(

There is a good lesson to be learned out of this kids...

...Don't follow Richard!

No you can see where it's bent from the upper control arm mount out. Good thing I've got a settlement check coming, front Prorock 60, only if I want a divorce. I'm going to try to brace it first and then as a last resort get a new 44 housing. I need it ready for Rubicon in June.
