Is there anyone interested in a Prerun to Naches(or where ever) on June 18th? I don't want to do anything "hardcore" that close to NWF. I want my rig in tip top shape for Naches. :repair:

Thats along drive for you in one day, but my next trip out was going to be that area..I hadn`t set a date yet. What is your idea of "hardcore"? :) What way do you want to go there ? In on the I 90 side out on the Hwy 410 ?

Yea I was thinking of going in 410 on Friday night, Camping then wheeling Saturday. camping again then head home 410 Sunday.
By no means does anyone have to come out and camp, it just works easier for me. Probably stay at Kaner Flats and you guys could meet me there.
Do you think I-90 in would work better? That is about as set in stone as I can do. If not Naches, maybe Evans,Eble or ???? just not Reiter.

Actually the trails I did last year would be fine for me, except the muddy section of Ravens Roost. :rattle: Maybe do alittle Moonrocks and Funnyrocks.

I just don't want to snap axles and driveshafts. :repair:

Also would be a great time to discuss any last minute details of NWF.

No camping required. I am just doing for the convinence.

What time you :chef: going to have breakfast ready ?
I would be up to coming over on sat. morning and make a day of it.
There is alot of trails without the mud of lower Ravens roost. :)

I'm game for Naches or somewhere close to by to me, provided I'm all together by then. I think I'm going to try to put my gears and lockers in this weekend, and if all goes well, my skid plates, steering, radiator, and new electric fan. (water sucks! ;))

I'm not too confident in the road worthyness of my Jeep. Everytime I drive it, something breaks.

Depends on what time you get there. Maybe poptarts via my intake manifold :repair: :chef:

I might head home Saturday night.

Redsands: the more the merrier.

I`ll check to see if the Lewis`s & Dale will tag along.
If your coming back on sat. we can do the Naches Trail back to this side.
Boy this sounds better all the time,I`m ready :) I`m glad you planed this Hans

There's a couple of us XJ guys down in the Tri-Cities that would be interested providing the work schedules don't change. I haven't joined naxja yet but plan to mail the stuff in within a day or two.

You don't have to be a member to go out on our unoffical runs. The only runs that you have to be a member/guest for are Northwest Fest and what ever our fall run is.

It would be great to meet some eastsiders.

Hans

Yeh, I realized one didn't have to join just for that, but I wanted to join anyway, and as a matter of fact got my application and check in the mail yesterday. :)

And by the same token it would be nice to meet some other XJ owners. :)

I don't know if I'll be camping or not, but the other guy, Karl, is interested in camping. I shot him a note the other night and he said he was all for it and would keep the calendar open.

Karl is running an 89 4L w/auto with 2" lift. Has some skid plates, should be receiving rock rails today or tomorrow, disconnects, front tow hooks, rear receiver hitch, CB.

Mine is a 90 4L 5spd, skid plates, 2", disconnects, 30x9.50 MT's, Tow hooks, rear receiver hitch, CB. No lockers yet, but in the works. May have them by then, just don't know yet. :)

That is great that you joined. You will get your moneys worth.

Both XJ sound like they are setup approriately. Glad to see both of you have CBs and towhooks.

So why didn't the "hardcore" guys do the Lower section of Ravens Roost? 3" and 32"s can do it with only minor breakage. :repair:
It was a fun section but may just by-pass it this year :wierd:
