Hello People. New here. Recently bought a 95 XJ and I'm now getting the tingly sensation of impending spending associated with sun-baked side window rubber on all four doors. What do the smart kids do to replace the rotted pieces? Not everything is cracking up. Here's what is ugly. Left and right condition are identical so I'll simplify by describing the pilot side.
1. Front door, bottom outside rubber squeegee.
2. Front door, vertical piece that seals the front edge of the uppy-downy glass
3. Back door, bottom outside rubber squeegee below the uppy-downy glass.
4. Back door, bottom outside rubber squeegee below the fixed quarter glass.
5. Back door, vertical seals on both sides of the vertical black piece that separates the quarter glass from the crank window.
I've found some of the rubber for sale. I don't think I've found all of the rubber. Are some of these pieces no longer available? Before I start buying anything I want to have a solution for everything.
intro niceties: I'm old enough that music industry has long stopped caring about what I like, young enough to still be astonished at how old I've become. This is the third XJ I've owned. I still own this 95 and a 2000. Also have a 1973 CJ5 project close enough to completion that I have few excuses anymore. I live in Middle TN and have a family (so back off, ladies).
