NWF Pre run June 18th

Damn Kevin, you had one hell of a weekend....that means you must sell me your bumper...;)

After washing my junk, I found that I did put a few scratches in the hatch area.....damn trees! On a good note, the wife agreed that I should get some topside protection after looking at your carnage pics :D :D :D

Good times....

i know i saw more than one digital camera on this expedition...out with the pictures, you slackers!

I only took ONE lousy picture at lunch, I guess I was too busy driving. :laugh3: Hopefully I will see the video later this week.

Kevin sorry to hear about your arb problems. My offer still stands on your bumper, $250 Forget John, just remember Kevin who gave you the "you know what."

John as WIDE as those trails are, and you managed to get a scratch. WELCOME TO WASHINGTON BUDDY. Oh by the way THANKS again for helping with my alternative route  I hope you are feeling good this morning. If not I hope Ibuprofen can fix you up. :)

I got home at 3:00 am after running my son back north to Arlington. I-5 was closed southbound in downtown (I forgot about that!) so I had to take a detour via the waterfront.

Here's a few pics -

What happened to your rear diff? Peeled the cover a little????

All these pics remind me that I need to reinstall my spring retainers. And rear diff protection. I am lucky I didn't peel mine, God know I tried.

Hans

Great pics by the way.

A few scratches John? Dear lord I hope you can handle it!! Either that or tell your wife you're not a wuss like me(ie I have insurance that will hopefully fix it from a previous mishap :D )

We'll have to see Hans, I like my ARB helping me pivot off trees, we'll see though. You fix my dents that the insurance doesn't, I'll bust out my acetylene torch, cut the bumper in half, half to you, half to greg :D

Good pics Mark, it was good to meet ya. Get yourself some better tires why don't ya? Hans Trxus seemed to do good and are pretty inexpensive $102 for 31"s

We need to start converting our runs to Sunday
If we do that, I won't have Sundays to check my shit out (after a run) to see if I can make it to work the next day.

Hans, Yeah I peeled the diff about the same time I got it tipping on two wheels. I'll have to replace the gasket and get the armor installed there too.

Rock Rails paid for themselves SEVERAL times over.

That's the exact reason why most runs are on Saturdays. You have time to relax and them look your rig over and fix anything you might have "tested to its limit"

Looks like a Beautiful place to wheel! Can't wait!

looks like yall had a lot of fun.....gi-john....you gonna make it to NWFEST? i'm hopin so, see what kinda army tricks u got up your sleeve;)

All signs point to yes...it's just a matter of getting the time off. I'd say about 90% sure right now. No tricks though...Well, maybe an MRE Bomb or 2 :gag:

I'm gonna try to camp the night before, but no promises.

ask howard - he was our fearless (and speedy) leader
Speedy,Ha, NWFest 2004 our group of three did kaner flat tr all the way then the Shoestring tr and replaced a broken axle in mine ,then Tripod flat tr then made it to the funny/moon rock area, replaced a bent tierod on Toms rig, then back to Kaner flat Campground by 5:45 for 6pm dinner. Now you can`t go that fast on those trails. And I took you guys on the better side of Shoestring lake ,the other side is lots of roots and mud holes and tite turns. And plenty of stops for Lewis`s dog .snacks breaks.
Slow or speedy

btw....MRE bombs are not condusive to good times...yr a sfc for cryin out loud....i'm sure we can come up with something better:D

lol yes but then we all know mp's are different folks.....aviation is the life to lead.....our own work hours, we get our own area to live in, and everyone in general leaves us alone..........oh yea, and we arent the most hated people on post;) in general the crunchies love us
