new rig (Black Betty)

Alright, thanks for the input. It is pretty clear I should go with a 7/8 joint. I'll trade in the 3/4 when I pick up my stuff for the track bar.

I just finished burning in the lower mounts and the next pic you will see will be without jack stands!

also, good lord I need to compile a book of the fab parts we used on this car. Sometimes I spend hours looking through invoices to find some stupid part from 3 years ago.

I run 1.75x.250 wall, but the 1.5 .250 wall is more than enough. If I did it again I would go 1.5 .250 wall.

the 1.5" clears things like trackbar bracing and oil pan and crap that much more too. the 1.75" DOM I have just seems so bulky. hell, you could probably get away with 1.25" .250 wall for a trackbar.

So the front end dropped down an inch or so. Not sure how I'll adjust that but I don't want to spend much on the solution. Budget is getting thin....

The arms are the same length but the axle is forward on the driver side and back on the pass side. Weird and I have no idea why at this point.

I picked up everything I need for the track bar including the 7/8 heim. I'll try to get it built this week. I need to get a move on....

The solution is just leave it as is or drop the rear an inch.

Is the spare on the back? Maybe some weight will level it out when you're on the trail

good call.
with the spare on the back, some kids, a dog or two, and a ton of camping gear, tools, parts, it will level out.
