NAC Meet and Greet- Our Weekend at the Junkyard!!

Still looking for this? Let me know an exact list with preferred colors and I'll pick up as much of it as I can.
The stuff I'm most interested in:
Seats- $25-$50/ea depending on condition
-2 door fronts w/straight sliders. cloth tan or black (charcoal?) if they've got any
Fully loaded Header Panel (lights/markers/grill)- $60/ea
-97+ red? with as much of the wiring as possible (cut beyond the main connector if possible so I can use it to make an adapter to my older wiring)
Drivers/Passengers front Fenders- $40/ea
-97+ red? one each (driver/pass.) no flares

The 97+ front clip is for the MJ. Red (whatever is close to the Colorado Red it is now) would be my first choice. Won't stand out so much if I put it on as is without painting it.

If you feel like it:
Driveshafts- $25/ea
-ZJ front preferred (the one that's about 2" longer than an auto 4.0 XJ front) or said XJ front (either way, I can lengthen/shorten as needed)

If they have the older, wider front flares (95-96 I believe?) ask how much for a pair or two of them (just the plastic, no post strips needed)

That all make sense? Pretty much all stuff for the MJ, except for the drive shaft. Need a new spare for the XJ.

Sounds good, I shall add to the list

Depends on how much space I have left and how much cash I have to front :spin1: plus how much stuff kyle wants to bring back if he rides shotgun. I'm pretty sure some more small stuff would fit but I'll be bringing back 2 seats, 2 fenders, a header panel, spare d30 shafts, a ds for you, a ds for Rob, a ds for another friend, plus probably floor panels and other stuff for myself.

nice. Only other parts I might be interested in (as of now ):
--possibly a couple more 760 shafts if the price is comparable to what we pay locally
--if you can find a draglink with good ends (at a real good price) I might be interested.

I don't want to pay much for a drag link since I am doing 1-ton steering soon but at the same time I want to be able to drive the Jeep as soon as my brakes are done and I may not have a bench/vice to get the 1-ton stuff done for a few more weeks... so getting my steering functional for now would be nice so I can get an inspection and at least show up to meet and greets in a Jeep :laugh3:

Edit: Oh yeah and in the off chance you can fit it and it will cost $20 or less, I would also be interested in a clean gray carpet. But that's the last of my concerns esp since I may be able to grab one for myself from everetts next wkend if I don't just end up showing up in PA myself.

Edit2: Just went back and check pricing. Def interested in the D-shaft. I have to think on the rest of the stuff, don't want to fill your truck up if it's stuff I could get locally. Though for $75 if you found and could pull an NV3550 for me I would be one happy son-of-a :D

I think I have a spare drag link here actually. Let me check the back porch real quick.

Yes, I do. It's got a good joint on it but no tre at the pitman end.

Shafts are a maybe, not sure what the price will be.

Price for shafts is $25, I went back and checked pricing. See my edit above for what I decided I would most likely be interested in. I am still pretty interested in shafts the more I think about it, just finding them up here is what gets difficult. Might as well pay the extra $10 per pair and get them while I can if you don't mind grabbing them. Don't kill yourself though, only thing I really need is the V8 ZJ shaft.

And for the drag link, I'm pretty sure I need it for joint a the pitman end I think, that's what would have stretched while the rig was up on a lift with the axles hanging down. Damn, oh well. I could just go buy a cheap autismzone pitman arm end to hold me over until my steering is done.

Hmm... Looks like my 13mm 12pt is gonna be screaming for mercy by the end of the day

ken, i need the down pipe from a 96-98 xj the 2.5" one without the cat, and a set of tailgate struts for a 97-01 xj, not needed is both fans from a 97+xj

I'll give ya a new one for your troubles:dunno:?
phat chance anyone knows but whats the going rate for d30 shafts? and how much more would they charge if the hub assembly was attached?

just thinkin it would be easier to pull the shaft with the hub still on rather than trying to break that bitch of a hub bolt off

its always best to get the hubs with, makes swapping em on the trails so much easier and faster

Adding to list... I think that's gonna be about it for orders. Totalling everything up so far it looks like approx 500 bucks in parts not including nac express stuff. If I add any more to the list the stuff in the back will be worth more than the mj!

my thoughts exactly

did i make the cut

I'm pretty sure I saw that D30 shafts are $25 each including unit bearings. I think they were included in the price list a few pages back.

Alright gents, see below for the last remaining details... I'll put this in the first post too...

The address is:
Shortys U-Pull-It
529 Flint Hill Rd
King of Prussia, Pa. 19406

This address is the MAIN Shortys U-Pull-It junkyard, the yard where all of the Cherokees are in is separate from this junkyard. It is just on the next block just north of Shortys U-Pull-It. Look for the MJ and other XJ's, it SHOULD be obvious...

For Saturday (4/24) the junkyard opens at 8am, so PLEASE try to be there shortly after 8, NOT BEFORE...

FOr Sunday, the junkyard opens at 9am, so PLEASE try to be there shortly after 9, NOT BEFORE...

See you all there!!:repair:

If it's not too much/too late, Rob's post reminded me about fans. Think you could check the price on a newer style (with more fins) auxiliary fan? If they're a decent price I could use two.

I'll put it on the list, depending on price.

EDIT: Kyle - still interested in going?
