My HP44 swap

Yeah I narrowef mine to 61 wms to wms. I then did 3.75 back spacing on my rims my hub sticks out a little, I did run into a problem with my 1 tone tie-rod ends they where off set 1" to keep the tie rod from hitting coil buckets and my pumpkin, well they wouldn't clear the rims. Oh well its fixed now.

Glad to here your still digging the setup, sometimes I wonder if I should have run mine full width.

I know I know! It is just Goodyear dont want to build any MTR's.. :eeks1:

I know people were having trouble getting 40" kevlars but I didn't know 37's were hard to get as well... hopefully they get some made in 2012 ;)

edit: just checked tirerack and website says they have 37's in stock.

I ve had really good luck with my KM2's. The 37's are a load range D tire so the sidewalls are pretty thick. I beat them up quite a bit on Barrett lake trail a few weeks ago and they did great not even a scrape or scar.

Jeff, I really want to run Barrett, I didn't even know it opened. Think of me if you run it again.

Hey Jon how much did that guy want for that housing, If you dont mind me asking I'm pretty sure I got ripped off when I bought my axles.

$100.

oh yah id like to run barret as well.

Ill post up next time I go. It was my first run on that trail and it is a great trail!! Just make sure your rig is in good running order cause it can be pretty tough in spots. You definetly want to do an over nighter. With no brake downs or traffic it can take 4 hours one way. Took us 6 with one brake down, and helped out some other guys that needed a welder.

Yea I also checked, Tire rack has some but they are back east.

Just wondering, how's the clearance on your driveshaft/exhaust? If I narrow to use the TJ Rubi inners the pinion will be in exactly the same location as if I leave it full width. (2" trimmed from each side) and I'll have about a 1" wider track width overall. (in theory)

Well i just got home from working on my rig, I installed the drive shaft, It went in as the axle was factory. I am so happy how all the brackets turned out. I will have my brakes working tomorrow & my WFO steering links will be in my hands.

jose that 44 is looking real good.
