My clutch master cylinder exploded while backing into a parking spot. The pedal went straight to the floor and the clutch was fully engaged in reverse. Made for an interesting time lol.

As far as the flatbed is concerned, that would be ideal. But luckily the tow was only 1 mile so I wasn't too concerned.

Now I'm in the process of replacing the power steering box, PS pump, and clutch master cylinder because they all went out on me. Waiting for clutch master and big bore J20 box to come in right now.

What are some good steering box upgrades? I bought a big bore 4 turn lock to lock J20 box from autozone but it went bad and they can't provide me with another matching replacement. What are some other good boxes? I'd prefer a better steering ratio and big bore. I've heard a lot about the s10 box, but what is so good about it? J10 sounds like another small bore 3.3 ratio box, which makes the only upgrade the 4th mounting hole. Opinions?

Ionno I run stock reman from NAPA and haven't had any issues whatsoever.. I ran the durango and hated it so swapped back to stock

for quality and longevity - PSC, howe, lee, or maybe red head engineering or a low mileage stock box.

I run red head in the WJ, and still need to swap my old PSC box into the red jeep.

for a season, maybe two - get a box store remans.

If you keep buying cheap boxes they will keep failing after some time. they weren't intended for what we do to them.

I'm running a PSC box ported for hydro assist. Sent them a stock XJ core, they rebuilt it and sent it back within two weeks. Well worth it.

I don't remember off hand, but it wasn't cheap. I'll look and see if I can find my receipt. But after dealing with remanufactured steering boxes in the past I figured it was worth the cost to not have to deal with a crappy box ever again.

I ran a stock box and had it tapped for my hydro with no issues for a few years....

yeah, I say tap the box with it altogether, and use magnets and go slow with the tapping and use grease as well to catch the shavings.

Yeah I'm sure the last box went bad from my own doing. Oh well. I'll try tapping from outside now.

So my jeep got broken into last night and two tires were slashed. I'm looking for either two good tread 33x12.5R15 Goodyear MT/R Kevlars or a set of 4/5 50%+ tread 35s.

Oh and I need a passenger front window local to sac if anyone has one.

Doesn't look like they took anything. Had 2 baofeng handheld uhf/vhf radios in the console and everything looked untouched.
