where were you able to have a fire at ?

You dont think your worn out control arm bushing and the knocking noise are related?

Good call. It could be. I'm kinda stumped by the while deal though. I say hubs because it seemed to go away once they warmed up. But now it's a bit more constant. Maybe I have more than one problem... I'll tear into it later this week.

Here's a few more photos from the weekend.

Waiting to get another video from a friend too.

looks so fun man.

You want to measure from the top of the axle tube to the bottom frame above the factory bumpstops. That is the proper way to measure lift height. Tire size would be in play if you measure from the ground.

So I Just checked these measurements and don't know how I feel about them.

Rear measures just a hair under 9"
Front measures 12"

That comes out to a generous 3" of lift in the rear
And 5.25" of lift up front (my front coils are 4 year old rough country 4.5" coils)

Im pretty bummed that the rear is so low. I was thinking I could get away with it but it looks like I'll have to build a longer shackle now.

I want to see your shackle angle and also looks like its time to cad some shackles!! Send me some dimensions and we can make this complicated but crazy cool ;)

There's the shackle angle at ride height. 1.5" lift shackle.

Here's where I'll have to bumpstop it at. Too much room left in the fender for my liking. Time for 35s.

Lol jk I'm not doing 35s. But I am not too happy about the amount of up travel left in the fender. When this picture was taken the front of the leaf spring was flat, just about to go into negative arch.

Ever thought of going with boomerang shackles? Might help prevent that leaf pack from inverting as well as giving you some more flex

Boomerang shackles have all the same characteristics of a straight shackle. The only benefit of the bend is to clear the stock shackle box which isn't an issue for me. They will perform the same as a straight shackle otherwise.
