In the grand sceme of things, I haven't been wheeling very long compared to the people I go out on the trails with. However, I'm addicted now and am always looking for that next wheeling fix. It seems lately though that I just have fun hanging out with the people I go wheeling with, the actual driving aspect is not as important to me.
Last year I went to Moab to wheel. This year I went to hang out with friends. Thus I present Moab, the people. The names are withheld to protect the guilty. :D

Can I ask one favor of you guys posting pics with people in them?
Please post the names. I recognize the Beaver, and I think the big guy is Chewy? Would really help those of us that could not make the event.

no pix up yet but

My camera died midway through Moab day 2, but I enjoyed meeting folks from 22 states out of 26 attended plus Hagen & family from Germany.

I met some old friends & made plenty new on the trail and at the campground, but special thanks (for not killing me this time) to my chauffers:

Jes (I can't believe you just opened that) Road 21
Turtle Boy (got low range in the open range) Rusty Nail
Motorman (watch me fix this ARB compressor) Behind the Rocks
Led (It doesn't matter, it's just a #$%^# desert) Pritchett
Crunch (get over it) night ride to Upper Proving Ground
Heather (Are we there yet) and Kevin ($40 on pump 7 please) for 4000 miles...

and  to Danno (just mash that button), who let me drive his XJ over Golden Crack for a Kodak moment.

It was too much fun to put into many words.

Something in Airborne school must have taught Mil not to be afraid of heights on CLiffhanger

No way in hell would i stand on that ledge, y'all can spots yourselves.

thanks for posting the pics Jes. As usual, I wheel vicariously thru your digi cam!

No way are we gonna let you near that ledge. You'd just break it.

There's a reason they call that trail Cliffhanger. :)

The views are awesome.......great trail.

LOL, Woody's classic saying!

Somemore words overheard in Moab...

Mountain biker: "Are you guys sure you can make it back up that?"
XJEEPER: "No, we just came out here to die."

Handlebars after seeing what was left of one of the comp XJs being towed through town: "Man, I hope whoever was in that accedent is O.K."

C-Rok to CRASH and I: "Who are you guys?"
Me: "We're part of the West Coast Gettin' it Crew!"

Overheard after CRASH backed into GaryE's rig at the Show-N-Shine and drove off: "Oh my god! He just hit that Jeep and drove off without leaving a note."

Goatman: "Those Colorado boys are pretty good when they show up."

Young lady working at Slickrock telling us to be quiet on Friday night: "Uh, I'm pretty buzzed and have been partying all night but we'd appreciate if you guys kept it down."
:D :D

More of that...

I always wanted one of those glamor shots with a sexy girl leaning on my Jeep but I guess when in Moab you take what you can get.

Don't EVER pull this guy's finger!

Your age just passed your tire size.

Why lift your Jeep when you can just have a short guy stand next to it?

Jes- I hear you. After 6 trips to Moab I'm starting to take that place for granted. I will still go back often just because it is my chance to see all of my far-flung friends at least once a year. :)

BTW, thanks for not posting that picture. :D

I said to Mil a year ago, during lunch on Cliffhanger:
I used to be afraid of heights. Now I'm merely apprehensive.

That trail will do wonders for a fear of heights, cure it, or just feed it to an incurable level.
