Maryland XJ people

Yeah the "local" jeep forums are pretty much dead. Its kinda sad actually. I'm an hour and a half away from ya. Little to far for just "popping" over to tinker I'm afraid.

Just took an updated pic of my rig.. Rocking the 31's now.

Another MoCo resident checkin in ;) Live in Damascus, work in Rockville. Always down around Potomac, Darnestown, Kentlands, Seneca etc. Been on the boards for more than a few years now.

Started with my brother's '95 back around 2006. Drove that for a year or two while he was up at school. Between the two of us we really drove that thing into the ground. Before the head gasket finally blew it would consume about a quart of oil every 100 miles.

Then I bought another '97 for $1200

That xj was really the one that got me into Jeeps. I learned everything I know now on that rig. I was so blown when it was totalled, so of course I had to buy another. $750 for this one, and it's what I'm rockin now.

Didn't like the color at first, but it's sure grown on me. I haven't seen a single other cherokee in this color, in person.

How she sits now. Haven't wheeled her too much. On my last rig I spent too much money breaking things when she wasn't ready and only caused more down time. This one I'm gonna take care of until she's good and ready to be abused.

not me just a heads up

Anyone got a spare spark plug wire close to arnold/severna park, md?

Perhaps a total noob question here but I have to ask cause I've tried my own research and keep coming up pretty empty handed. Anyone know where I can get a set of Yukon or Superior shafts for my C8.25 29 spline?
