Looks like I'll be seeing you guys out there. I'm co-driving with Fred Hill in car 17x. We'll be pitting with Sean Rose and a couple other racers. Stop by and say hi. This is going to be crazy, I hate mud, and I'm used to hauling ass through the open desert. Now we're going to haul ass through the trees and slop.........sounds like fun.

Very cool... When will you be arriving? We'll be at the park Thursday afternoon. We'll definitely stop by and say Hi... I haven't talked to Sean in quite a while either, it will be good to see him too.

LOL... from what I know so far, your correct, it WILL be crazy...

I'm flying into Harrisburg Tues evening, and staying at the Comfort Inn in Pine Grove. I understand it's about 7 miles to Rausch Creek. I'll be flying back home Sat morning. We want to spend time Wed getting the shocks dialed in.

Hopefully, we'll have something to celebrate Fri night after the race.

If that's your plan, make sure any track time on Wednesday is cleared with the park staff - supposedly everything's gonna be closed so they can mark out the course etc.

I think I'll be out there Wednesday night thru Sunday morning. I think Sean knows the park/area pretty well but if you need any help finding stuff or making arrangements at the park let me know.

We'll need a bumpy stretch to tune the shocks, but it doesn't need to be very long. I'll check with them Wed morning. We can finish tuning Thurs with some pre-running if it's needed.

This should be fun. :D

hmmm, might be interested in that, when do they need to know by? / what is the min # of people they need?

Meant to answer your Q's...

If you want to bring your chainsaw up and help on Sunday, they will put you to work. No real minimum needed, just need help. They would like to know asap...

Also... I am REALLY starting to consider bringing my son Jeremy up on Saturday and going wheeling with everyone......

hmmmm...

This is tomorrow. I am highly considering calling off work for the event. If I don't make it up I hope you guys have a blast I know there's gonna be some great racing and crawling

See you guys Friday night!!

We're starting 9th this morning, placed 9th in the short time qualifier yesterday. Nice seeing some of you NAC folks, be sure to come up and say hi. Wish us luck, I'm riding with Fred Hill in car 17x.

ARB - that stinks dude! Any idea whats wrong with it?

Andy, JoeV, Chedisme, Imoverit and me had a great time. We helped out with the short time trial on Thursday afternoon, worked recovery on Crawl Daddy during the race (nobody needed help so we just sat around and watched), and wheeled all day Saturday.

Here are a few of the pics.

Oh, and as usual, my Comanche broke before I even got to wheel. And, as usual, it got to ride a flat bed to the shop for repairs. Something popped inside the engine .... most likely a broken piston.

Thank goodness for AAA. Free tow!!

I'm wondering if I'll ever get to wheel this thing.
