I want to ditto Ron's comments. Johnson Valley is known among those in our sport for it's hardcore trails. However, it is also very popular with the ATV and motorcycle crowd, and they have regular off-road races there. Like Ron said, there are trails for every level out there. I think it is time that we take advantage of the other trail opportunities that are there at JV, which is part of the motivation for putting together this run. There are (very) few places where we can all get together, enjoy the visiting, check out all the rigs, sit around the campfire and pick on each other, and still have trails that will more than satisfy everyone at every level.
If you have a lightly modified rig, and would like to be able to do a fun run, and then drive over and watch the hardcore guys finish a tough trail, this is the place for it. Plus, for me, the wheeling is only part of the fun I have going on wheeling trips. Hanging out, eating, and visiting with friends is easily as important and as much fun as the wheeling.
See you there,
