Was there a cage in that xj or did the roof itself really hold up that well. I would be impressed and a little reassured if it did.

I will be happy to see it togethere again. I was 2 seconds away from making a pickup out of it. Then I remembered my dog goes everywhere with me. The back seat is "his" spot. He was even sitting where the seat should be while I have been working on it. Damn dog is like a kid.

o it was without a dought totaled. No cage. The roofs do hold up a lot better then most would think. I have put 4 on there roofs with no cage. one of them 4 times. This one was not supose to happen though. I do have another whole issue to work out with the insurance though. I think I am going to get it aprasied. If it was to be stolen, I would get a check for about 3k. That would cover the rear end and the tires. With the new paint and 1 tons, I almost worry about leaving it in a parking lot, more so than my f-350. Anything is fixable, but you can't fix what gets stolen.

Then I turn around and there is really a cop standing there. First time I have ever had my info taken in a rollover OFFROAD. He asked about the damage. I told him it was minimal, but in your opion junk.
