Important

I don't think that's such a concern anymore.

Chi town got their pee pe smacked for requiring gun range training, but not allowing gun ranges in the city limits. It was found that not allowin citizens a place to practice infinged on their 2a rights, so I can't imagine that they would allow an attack on ammunition outright. Pretty hard to excercise my 2a rights without bullets.

now, I can totally see the enviromentalists going crazy and trying to ban lead in the use of bullets, which would drive costs up considerably. The EPA already tried that and they got smacked around over it too.

They'll never be able to ban ammunition, but they can tax it all the way to the "guns are a luxury you can't afford" level.

I think as far as ammo taxes go this is where it will be. On the local level. Again it makes me very happy I live where I do. I feel bad for people in places like Chicago, Boston and San Francisco.

I am happy the only gun I currently own is a .22. If I shot a 9mm as much as I shot my .22 I would not be able to afford the rounds.

9mm is cheap compared to rest...... 23 bucks for the 100 pack, I'm thinking of trading in my xd40 for a 9....

Short"1mm smaller....big price difference"xjdoug

My 9mm doesn't have a hitch on it... its cheap to shoot and I'd Much rather pay for 9mm ammo and be able to protect myself rather than get laughed at. Yes, .22 can be deadly but it takes less 9mm rounds than .22 rounds to stop a threat.

Flexd'I love my .22's still'XJ

You guys that shoot alot need to start reloading. I have enough bullet, primers and powder to shoot for a long time. The only loaded ammunition I buy is .22lr and my duck/goose loads. You would be amazed how fast you can load pistol rounds with a progressive press. Once you work out the kinks a dillion 550 press can load 9mm at a rate around 500/hr. I'm really lucky that my dad taught me to reload. Saves me a ton and its satifying working up a load and seeing a rifles true potential.

Pulled a 242 out of a 99 XJ today at the pick and pull.

It was skeeeeeeeeeeetchy even for me.

It was propped up on rims. There was a motor mount missing. No jacks or jack stands allowed.

I got it out. I didn't die. It took me about 1.5 hours. Sucked doing it in the gravel without air tools...and I forgot my special bent 9/16 wrench.

Its going in the 5.9.

Got a free set of in channel weathertech visors for my windows from a friend. have to clean the rear ones up as the previous owner put some 2 sided tape on it.

Does the 5.9 currently have a 231? If so, is it in working condition? WF delivery?

It probably has the 249 (AWD). I think that was pretty much standard.
