Important

Must have knocked something out of whack on the XJ at WF bc the new owner said it has death wobble bad now. I helped him tighten up the TRE's and that def had play in them, but it was perfect before WF. I am guessing that it had never been offroad before WF so it just worked a few things out. I am really not wanting to replace the front end components for him, but the edal was that it woudl be in the same shape after WF as it was when he test drove it.....stupid move by me :D

NACFest aint that much further.

I'm considering a couple NAXJA events this summer... NACFest is a given. The 15th anniversary I'm considering.

Was hoping to do WF too, but shit just didn't work out. First I thought I was double booked, then that fell through and tickets were simply too expensive by the time I was sure I could take the time off.

Where/When is Nacfest?

I will have some time to do whatever I want during the slow time between planting and harvest. Just depends on money, time, and distance.

Im considering Harlan. I highly doubt my jeep will be done (or in wheeling condition) by that point so I would most likely just drive the truck down and visit, Its about 250 in fuel each way but If I dont take the jeep maybe I would be better off just jumping on a plane/train/or bus. It also depends on what is going on around the shop and how much money I have dumped into the jeep by that point (whether I am "jeep broke" or not).

dylan...i may go to nacfest this year...if it works out you could hook up with me along the way and split gas. its not too far of a drive for me...ill actually be about halfway between nacfest and winterfest every year

alright...maybe i was smoking crack when i said that. i thought attica was further west than it is...so the badlands is about 2.5 hours further than rausch for me. regardless...if i go id still be willing to meet up

I wish it was July as well. Course that means more work is getting done to the Jeep. Hoping I get it all done by then with everything going on.

How is your baby Jeep set up kman?

we are moving to western ny in a few weeks...pretty much the far sw corner of the state. it would mean driving a long way for you solo still. i would be up for meeting along i80 if we go, but honestly you'd be better off trying to convince someone in iowa or illinois to go to make the most of the gas split.

that being said, if you do decide to go, let me know. it would definitely make me more interested in going if more mwc peeps were heading there
