It sounds like you are talking about Hole in the Rock Road, these guys are talking about Hole in the Rock Trail, which starts off Hwy 276, on the opposite side of the lake. But I will agree with you, a Cherokee on 31's with the sway bar disconnected is all that is required to do it. A more important factor is making sure your rig is mechanically sound as that is a looong way from civilization. In 2009 I had to tow a friend's jeep all of the way out of that trail.I ran this trail about 4 years ago in the early summer. Unless you are going to try to get way off the main trail (like ascending the Kaiparowits Plateau from the East), you won't need 33's or a rear locker. What limits you is how lately they have had a road grader down there to smooth out the wasboard.
