H.D. OFFROAD RELOCATION BRACKETS REV 2 INSTALL

Installed, and now it rides much better !!! Awesome product!!!

Now for my quick and dirty install that took 48 minutes...

Step one - Are you sick of the rear shackle being strait up and down because it kills your flex and rides like an empty lumber truck??? Then just unbolt it...

Step two - Bolt in the cool parts...

Step three - Take it all back out, and make sure the holes line up...

Step four - Tighten it all to 120 lbs/ft !!!

Step Five - Install the rear shackles from a 1989 RamCharger because they are cheap and longer...

Last step.... Just wheel it and test it out !!!

Thanks for putting up with my first install and silly video !!! :wave1:

My kit came in the mail yesterday. Talk about fast service. There was however one area that has me slightly concerned. In the pic on the first page, it shows 1/8"-1/4" of space between the top of the elongated hole and the start of the bend. Mine are not this way.

Is this going to pose any issues on install?

Mine came this way as well, one is worse than the other. That bend is not quite 90* either. I don't expect there to be any issues though. I'm hoping to do the install this weekend and I'll post up the results if I get to it.

mine was like that also - don't worry about it. That hole isn't as important as the bolts on the bottom part, and the chance that your bracket will be installed low enough that the bolt will be towards the top of that bracket is slim.

Bingo, the pics in the original post were the prototype and the hole needed to be a little taller in order to take into acount and extra 1/2" of steel from hitches and skids.

Just so you know... It took less time to install mine than it did to prime and paint them.

Working on an 8.8 right now and I'll be playing with a different shackle/spring combo as well, but these definately give you more adjustment options. Nice.

just installed mine yesterday very nice work very well got a smother ride yet to flex test it

They give anywhere from 5/8" -1.5" depending on the angle and shackle you are using. Most people do not have issues w pinion angle being effected enough to add shims.
