Went to Home Depot in Highlands Ranch off Lucent Dr. yesterday...... saw no fewer than 3 guys open carrying. :thumbup:

One guy even had a nifty ID holder on a small retractable thing from his belt so he could present his CCW permit upon request real easy. Thought that was pretty cool. I spoke to him and he said he had been challenged for open carry a few times, but displaying his CCW next to the gun halted all that - no challenges since. He appreciated my letting him know I supported his responsible style in open carrying.

Last time I open carried I went into a bait shop in Hicktucky, IN and they looked at me like I just shot the mayor. They seemed shocked that I had the audacity to be a reponsible gun owner buying beemoth to fish with! My XD9 was hard to conceal so I bought an XDS! :D I'll be staying in Highlands ranch a couple nights in October. Good to know that if someone gets a glimpse of a pistol the POlice won't go all Rodney King on me! :)
 
apparently some native tribes are offended that they would be singled out in such a way. Therefore we should have one that is inclusive of other disarmed and overrun people, i.e. German Jews, Native Americans, Russian peasants, etc... I'd buy that on a t-shirt as well.

The only people I have seen that were offended were a couple of libs that claimed to be of native descent. On the other hand I mentioned this to a couple of full blood Crow Indians I work with and they both told me basically the same thing......that they saw no problem with the billboard and that is about time the whites figured out how dishonest our government is. Look for the lib media to jump on the band wagon and dig up any one that will claim native heritage and scream foul.

If this one gets pulled put one up with Hitler or Stalin.....as a person of German and Irish heritage I sure as hell won't complain.

Ironically, my oldest son is portraying the evil racist bastard Colonel Chivington in a "living museum" at school tomorrow -- I've made sure he understands that there should be nothing heroic about his portrayal.
 
yeah, applaud me, and watch him get talked to for portraying a military "hero" in a less than flattering light... keep in mind I live in Colorado Springs. :rolleyes:
