GUNS & AMMO

I ain't skeered of you, Jim ;)

Re: GUNS & AMMO

Something to consider...

The DHS has over 160,000 agents. They just bought or is in the process of buying 1.6 billion rounds. That's only 1000 rounds per agent. Even if only a quarter of their agents are armed that's only 4000 rounds. Considering training and such it's not that huge of a number.

They also started ordering these long before the whole gun world blew up.

Correction, that would be 10,000 rounds of ammo per agent :D

160,000 x 1000 = 160,000,000

And that is just the DHS...not including Army, Navy, Marines, etc.

There has been a LOT of talk about this on Pirate already.

Pretty staggering the numbers they're trying to "justify".

So, talking to more of my friends around the states, more and more of the ladies are going out and learning to practice their right to own firearms and some are even carrying. Thought you guys might enjoy a break in the tension for some pics of ladies learning to shoot.
My friend in vegas finally getting out.

I think we need to make friends, so I can make friends; with your friends.

Re: GUNS & AMMO

I love savage rifles. Without question they are always the most accurate rifles I own out of the box.

My savage .17hmr was that way as well. A few clicks on each knob and it was golden.....then some dumbass dropped it when he was cleaning it......:eyes: The Accu trigger is great as well.

Just throwing this out there....

If any of you guys have a Colt Python in Nickel plate w/6" barrel that you're looking to part with, please let me know. I'm officially in the market.

My fiance wants this for her Wedding present in May (I'm marrying the greatest woman on Earth, by the way).

Thanks - Jim

How the heck is that 100 lb gal of yours gonna harness the wrath of a Colt Python?!?!?

But I do agree..... That makes her pretty awesome.

She's 100% Polish and tougher than old salami. And she's a damn good shot.

Windham Weaponry:

Just a pitch for these guys. I picked up WW SRC 5.56 last night for around $875.00 + Transfer fee. I was pleasantly surprised at the quality for a lower tiered rifle. I dropped in a Patriot Ordinance trigger assembly and it made it that much better. The stocker wasn't a slouch though; clean break @ 7lbs according to my gauge.

Overall the rifle is very well balanced and priced right.

Couple of nit-picky things: The stock slide is kind of crappy due to the stamping quality. The piccatiny rails had a few metal burs on the side that I removed. The stock grip is not that great and was replaced with an extra Hogue I had laying around.

WW has an awesome story and I'd suggest any of you guys that in the market for an AR15 to look into them.

Jim
