GUNS & AMMO

Any of you hand reloaders using CFE 223 powder? Tried a few through my AR-10. It doesn't seem to like it. I sure like the idea of a powder that ends copper fouling problems though.

I've got a buddy selling a Ruger P95 9mm for 350$ if anybody is interested. Has the original case and 2 15-round magazines.

This IS my new DUTY gun! I got the job and started last week! I guess they thought I was worth hiring even with all of my cross dressing and make up use.

I was able to find a holster for it. Safarilad makes a holster for the &P 45 with TLR1. Its not the kind of holster that I wanted but it was the only one I could find at any of the shops where the PD has an acount set up.

The light will be a huge help considering I'm the new guy and have probably at least 3 years of graveyard shifts ahead of me. With a mounted light you have a hand free to open doors, reload your gun, operate your radio, pick your nose and scratch your butt.

Awesome finally got a job in what you wanted to do. ;)

How long now since you been looking?

You ever test out your AR change up? The M&Ps are great guns. I did some trading out of left over parts and an AR upper after building the wife her AR and in the process picked up a "5 Tactical 9 XD, also got a kydex holster made by a guy in town. Great holster!

Don’t I have to be 18 (to legally have a firearm in my possession) to head up to the mountains and responsibly plink? I would definitely like to come hangout with you springs people, time is very limited for that type of stuff though!

Did some changes to my 5.56, added a mini scout light and a Gear Sector mount and changed out the optic to a Compact 3x, also changed out the barrel to a Daniel Defense 14.5 pinned middy with a PWS flash / comp

.......and finished changing over some furniture and color on my old 14.5 pinned middy which is not the Wife's AR. :shhh:

David, I go shooting on Mondays fairly often. I have access to a range/property near my house. You can tag along if you want, I'll keep you updated as to my next outing.

Oh, and my 4yr old has already gone shooting. He can't hit anything, but he enjoys it.

I think you only have to be 18 to have a pistol in your possession. Wasn't that long ago ranch kids carried their .22 rifles to school.

Its been almost 2 years since I started looking.

Ive taken the AR out a few times since the rebuild. It's having a little trouble cycling and I need to realign the gas port to get a better flow but I just havent gotten around to it yet.

P.S.
There is nothing tactical about a 9mm :dunce:
