GUNS & AMMO

If you ever meet Josh you'll realize he's actually a pretty pretty princess.....:D
Fat, tattooed, pierced, balding, bearded...I just exude royalty.

Probably............ :laugh:

My AR is seeing "regular" use as it's serving as my duty weapon...... ****in' department claims all their AR's have been issued, nothing to give me. I ain't buyin' it.... 3 Sgt's rotated from patrol to the jail when I came out so where's those 3 AR's???? I'm not happy about my rifle getting all marked up being clamped in and out of the rack in the cars.........

Still have yet to shoot the Mini-14 I got from Skully. :looney:

Jeeeeeeeeeeezus Troy still haven't shot it yet? Last time I ran that Mini, which was a while ago it had no issues and cycled everything I fed it including 10 year old surplus sitting in the gun vault.

I have gun ADHD and keep switching things around on mine. There is ony one that I havent changed at that is my first complete build I did myself. The 300 BLK I had some issues with the barrel and manufacture. I got discouraged and sold off the replacement barrel and stock in ammo and went in to a 308 AR. I took what was my 300 BLK and turned it in to a 14.5 middy build, then got crazy and artsy fartsy with some paint.

My first complete build that will stick around for a while;

My once 300 BLK TANGO, now is a pinned 14.5 middy;

When I get some good pics of the 308 AR I put them up, but here is a video of me shooting the 308 and sighting it in. I was hitting the 500 meter gong repeatedly, need to go to BLu Core range to perfectly sight in the compact 5x at 100 yards. Little more kick than a 5.56 so I am changing out the stock setup a little

Been going out to Colorado Rifle Club with a buddy who lives close to me as he has a membership there. $95 a year for a HUGE private range with lots of structured organized areas to shoot, cant beat it.

I got an email from Shernic Gun Works, my SKS bull-pup kit should be here next week. I ordered it back in March so I'm excited to finally be getting it.

OH sweet, finally, about a 6 month wait time as they advertised cant wait until you see if it is worth the wait and time.

Skully, your pics make me want to build an AR really bad. Alas, I still can't bring myself to get a direct impingement barbie gun. I'm still holding out for my SIG 556 Classic Swat.

It is a Griffin Armament M4SD II Tactical Comp, similar to A Battlecomp but 1/2 the price. Works as described, good weapon control. Joe Bob Outfitters has them for $85.
Thanks, looking into that now.

You can build an AR to be gas piston. That's what I'm doing.

I'm giving this one a try. Looks the cost savings is gained from not including the bolt carrier or a quad rail.

Finally got a chance to pop a few rounds off with my Walther G22. We ran 100 higher velocity/ heavier grain rounds through it to break it in and only had 1 fail to fire out of the bunch. No feeding issues, no ejection issues, it worked great. We then ran another 40 rounds of the cheaper 550 bulk rounds box ammo through it. Also, no issues with it at all. The gun worked perfectly and the iron sights were spot on at the 20 or so yards we were shooting. I'm very happy with the little thing. My only complaints are that the rear sight post doesn't have a detent to hold it in the up position and the spare mag is really tight in the buttstock so it's kind of hard to get out. Other than that though it's definitely a fun little gun. I can't wait to put a small scope on it and see how it does at range.

What are options for a 5.56 Bullpup that uses STANAG/AR-15 magazines? I'm on a Bullpup kick.

Anyone know of a place that still has Bismuth Shotgun shells?
Haven't seen those in years, not since all the tree huggers made us go to steel shot around water. But that might just be an Iowa thing.

There was a guy on the CO AR15 forum selling a FN FS2000 for $1600, in fact DUtch there is a guy on there now selling a SIG 556 for $1000. Too bad you didn't sign up there months back or you could these items for sale. :wave:
